Well, I just got a best answer, so I figured I might as well "spend" the points... Would anyone please tell me the story/characters/plot/events/etcetera of War and Peace? The book, not the movie! (Was there a movie? I don't know!) I'm not asking for homework help, it's just that I've never read the book, but I'm writing a story and at least one of the characters have read War and Peace (or at least partially read it), so I really need to know what happens... Thank you so much and could you please answer tonight because I'm leaving on vacation tomorrow and will be gone all day...? Thanks!

Our vision is distorted
from the diamond's gleam
blinded from warm morals,
recklessly grasping for shallow dreams

We all have imprinted our brains
of wealth equaling a reality of bliss
when in reality it buries us in dense pride
as our laws of morals are remiss

by of a curse of corosive desires
casted by gleaming stones
so exquistive in raging fire

So lets become outlaws,
for having hues of a tranquill blue
contrast of the hues of red whose
gluttony morphs them into pure fools

Strip our eyes of gleams
of diamond and gold
enable our inner serene
breeze to unfold

Throw away our transparent
burdens one by one
in cleansing
of our meditation

Lets live like the birds,
and yield to deviation.

I've been very interested in Cthulhu Mythos lately, and was wondering what stories make the lot of these 'mythos'? I mean, what would I have to read to have it completely understood and read?

Also, assuming I should start at Call of Cthulhu, where can I find the best version of just it? By that I mean an Amazon link or something like that, to just Call of Cthulhu in a book.

All help is very appreciated, I'm more concerned at the moment of just finding Call of Cthulhu by itself in a book, or maybe some other relative stories. Thank you.

So I know that a lot of authors dont write under their real names for whatever reason.
But Im curious as to how they come to their pen name...what makes them choose that?
Like why George Orwell? or why Stephen King?

I have come across some explanations for some names but most are a mystery to me and Im wondering if anyone else knows more.

I'm writing an essay on a place in history where I would want to visit if i could and i was thinking if I could then I would want to see america when it was prospering the most.
