Yes. Everyone of us could be happy. That is one of the purpose in life. To live a happy life and be happy. We build our own lives and it is only us who could control our feelings. Every little child has that sweet smile on their face. The innocence of wonderful things make them laugh as they venture into the real world.

Suppose all persons where happy, that would cause happiness to become normal for everyone, then it would be that no one is happy everyone is normal. In order for there to be one emotion there must be a contrast

Yes, we must have hope. When people start saying things like, "well every one can't be happy". Bad things start happening. And thats no good.

The truth is, every one can't be happy, because humans are never happy.

To rephrase your question, Can all imperfect be perfect? Maybe NO. A what if, What if all the I's were to have the same thought at the same time, would we be happy? It's a thought, hmmmmmmmmm.

yes it is a choice, just like being angry is a choice. It may be difficult to be happy but it is still a choice.
