You're kidding, right? Rome lived through two political structures (republic and empire). Greece never had a single political structure (it was composed of many city-states, some of which were democracies, while others were ruled by kings) until the Macedonians conquered it.

Roman's Republic was more like the democracy of the U.S.'s today. The senators were elected into the office and their was an house for the nobles and one for the common people. The Greek government was more of a true government and not merely a representative democracy. All males of a certain age were allowed to vote and speech in the forums.
