1.) Let's follow the rules, even the seemingly very simple ones like 'No Jaywalking', or running on a yellow or red light, or 'No Littering'. It's tough, but things will be in a lot more order if this is enforced and followed by everyone of us.

2.) Show more concern and sensitivity for our fellow Filipino. We claim that we are a very caring and compassionate race, but these days, you hardly see people offering any genuine help to others, especially to the ones living in extreme conditions because of poverty. If we all work together, perhaps a solution can be arrived at to improve their quality of life.

3.) Let's all be honest. It's sad to see that most Filipinos can be bought. Money talks, but it shouldn't be enough that it can shake our convictions. We, the youth, should start a revolution of honesty, let's refuse to be manipulated by corruption or greed. Let's remember what we learned in Elementary school: "An honest zero is better than a cheated 20/20 score".

1) I would make a monetary gift to an organization that is combating a problem there:

2) I would research problems there and what the US policy issues are or how the US is involved in any way, and in the next election I would vote for the candidate who would best create policy that would alleviate those problems. And I would write the appropriate officials or legislators at the national level informing them what the issues are, and suggest what might be done. For example:

3) I would remind people in my church to pray for and support those who are working in the Philippines (and other places in the world) to bring about change for the good. These are dedicated and brave individuals who ARE making a difference and who work with determination and conviction under extraordinary situations. They need prayer and support, and I believe my prayers do help.
