I have a pretty good voice and I'm in my school's performance troupe. I thought dancing would be my main struggle but lately I've been more frustrated with my voice. Any advice on how to project?

Hey all, so I am a huge fan of Johnny Cash, and I would really like to learn guitar and play the old country music, like Johnny Cash and Waylon Jennings etc., I have a couple questions, obviously one is is learning to play hard? my dad plays guitar and he's offered to give me lessons but whenever i get a "lesson" its just learning the E chord. is there any way besides a teacher (other then my dad i mean) i could learn? I don't like learning things on the internet to let you know, another thing is what is a good old fashion guitar? Thanks all

We now torture people like the Nazis. We listen in on the private conversations of law abiding Americans. We start wars on false pretenses. We hire mercenary soldiers who get pumped on steroids and murder innocent civilians. We run a chamber of horrors prison camp and throw a bunch of privates and corporals in jail, and the Generals go scot free. We have Veteran's Hospitals that operate like they are from the Third World. We have 20 million illegal aliens in the country. Trillions are stolen by war profiteers and by stock fraud and no one goes to prison.


I am as patriotic as the next guy. I was in the U.S Army, as was my father, and my grandfather. But something happened. Italy voted for Mussolini. Germany voted for Hitler. Palestine voted for Arafat. And the majority of Americans voted for what we got in the White House. What happened to my country?

My harsh approach to lists of things to do:
Reduce the count from many down to few
And only chase the one I must pursue.

Against my sense of duty I send wit
A champion to guarantee the fit
Of comely virtue with my urge to sit.

Ya know, a lot of stuff can go undone,
You needn't finish tasks you've not begun,
Some fights unfought preserve what can't be won.

I envy not the energetic man
Whose life is spent on some ambitious plan
Of doing all that any human can.

I'll do a thing or two to please myself
And leave ambition rusting on the shelf.

Did you know they use your poems, to sell books. I am not talking about the books that publish your poems in it that they try to sale to you, with your work in it...But key words in your poem are underlined, and when you click on it, it sends you to places like Amazon.com. all these online book stores. Your poems are being used as advertizement to sale other books on other links. I had not given anyone permission to use my poem as a marketing scheme.Do they have the rights to use our work , as a link for other companies, There is nothing in the guide lines that say so.

13 ships set forth on a voyage,
One day in the year of the same dangerous shore
Brairing thestorms and winds with courage
The smallest led them to a fruitful anchor

A ship came thwarting a hazardous sea
A mishap befell on the way,
She preferred to be left and the load be free
But the others, pursued with gay

Beguiled by friendship this happy trip,
By laughter and merriment among the captains of the ships
Each and everyone enjoying the trip
Though with problems they begot..............
