I believe in humanity. I am not religious, but I am very spiritual. I want to be live in the good in people. Organized religion can twist some really good ideas into a way to control people through fear. I reject that I should fear - rather that I should take strength in the source and my own inner divinity. There are many different words for a persons idea of a higher power or God. I believe that I have great love within me and that this awareness keeps me in conscious contact with the source/God. I don't need a church or another living soul to tell me how I should to be. I have direction from within.
If you can find this source in yourself this question will fade away. If I am having trouble settling down to find it - I can spend time with a kid - that reconnect is instant. They are pure joy.

Check out Christianity - really check it out, don't just go off what happened in the past of the hypocrisy and sins of Christians. Look at the idea of Christianity - it is self-sacrifice, abounding love, and pure holiness. Its radical, not corrupt (it was in the church once). Its more than Adam and Eve and Noah and the Ark. Its a community so linked so as to reach an eternity of bliss, here on this Earth. It is hope when earthly troubles let you down. Its REAL! I promise. Christians are called to a higher law, and a higher understanding. When you are in Christ, you will be invincible - you will be above what people say or do. If Christianity is just a belief, as people say, then why has it compelled Christians to sing hymns as they are ripped to shreds by lions? Pray while they burn for their beliefs? Mere belief doesn't do that. It takes something inside of you, a spirit more immense than most minds that comprehend. Put on the armor of god; arm yourself with his world. Yea, though you will walk through the valley of the shadow of death, you will not be afraid, for your Lord is with you.
There is a different reality than this - a higher, spiritual reality, where our souls are linked with those passed on. Being so intimately linked with God makes earthly troubles simple (most of the time). Well, I can say no more. It is up to you to make your decision. Join the family of god. There is no hate.

In the up coming spring semester. I am (atleast to me it is) making probably the biggest step in my college career. that is to switch into pre-med. and hopefully do well on the MCAT exams and get into a Medical School.
it has always been my passion to help, people in need and get invloved in making a difference in patients lives. But everyone tells me its so hard to be a doctor, i will be in school for a very long time, etc........it just seemed impossible for me.
but I never thought I would ever have the courage to take on such arduous task.
but becoming a doctor is really important to me right now and I think that if I just BELIEVE IN MYSELF and with lots of patience and diligence and passion for my goal.
anything is possible!

That family is by far the most important element of love in life if you can keep yourself smiling and not hold on for dear life because in doing so family falls apart. Let each be his own and love as hard as you can without suffocating each other.

Yes I have, but she, for some reason, gets on here and checks up on my answers, and seems to think I'm having sex with everyone in here because I give a couple of answers with innuendo or flirty. How can anyone be so insecure, that they are jealous of a question and answer site?

No, not really. I do believe in my reasoning and the ability to think for myself. I trust myself as far as being able to figure things out and know myself well enough to know what I need to do. I do believe in God, his son, Jesus and the holy spirit. They are what keeps me together because everything is else is just nada.

"Climb the Highest Mountain," Mark Prophet, "Men in White Apparel" and "Watch Your Dreams," Ann Ree Colton, and "Light Is a Living Spirit," O. M. Aivanhov, are worthwhile.
Loving God completely, loving colleague as Self, and loving as Christ Jesus, Truth, loves, is good.
"Autobiography of a Yogi," Yogananda, http://www.yogananda-srf.org
http://www.family.org 1-800-232-6459 licensed counselors also good.

I did not think I did, but after reading your question a couple of times, I find that there is something I believe in.
And that is that I am not alone in feeling alone.
-D
I believe in the one who brought me into existence to always be there for me when I want to feel needed. You have my gratitude, D.

I found that I believe in humanity and the driving force of it. I believe what drives me is primarily love and logic: it contadicts. I know, but trust me, love of people in general and love of logic does not
