I'm asking for an Ibanez JamPack IJV50 Quickstart Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar Pack for Christmas. Is this decent for a beginner, or will the thing fall apart when I look at it? I don't need anything fancy, just decent.

Descartes describes there is no such thing as pleasure just a absence of pain
For example, sex, is not a pleasure but yet a fullfillment of a yearning which is a type of pain.

My friend absolutely loves to write. For christmas, I wanted to get her a new journal. She's normally written in composition notebooks, but they keep falling apart because she uses them so much, and she always talks about these fancier 30-40$ journals with leather and other stuff. Does anyone know where to find them, and if there are any websites where they specifically sell journals/diaries/notebooks? Any help is appreciated

"In 1947 Australia signed the Metre Convention making metric units legal for use in Australia, and in 1970 passed the Metric Conversion Act with the aim of making the metric system the sole system of legal measurements in Australia."

According to the above, Australia possessed metric well before 1970.

Was the word "conversion" a bowdlerised form of the word "convention" ?

Hi,
Ok our theater had just finished Judgement and Nuremburg and I had one of the leads. The upcoming play is Aida, and I want to be in it so i can put it on my college application. I am not that good at singing but I can act. What song should I sing (from Aida) and how should I go about training my voice so I am a little better. Try outs are in 2 weeks. Help!!!
PS. Its a High School, however, we are very serious of drama in our school.

My school did Grease recently, and the director got a package of scripts, music books for the band, etc. but I was an idiot and didn't think to ask where she got them from.
Now, I know she had to pay copyright stuff, but where could she get this stuff? Is there a website, a company, something?
