1. COmmunity theater would be a good place to start, especially if your school doesn't have a theatre program. Not only can you learn about acting, but you can get the opportunity to have hands-on experience with behind-the-scenes work, if you wish.
2. Are there any acting classes or workshops? Many community theaters or municipal community/civic centers ofher them.
3. As well as acting, try to take classes in music. Voice and/or instrumental will make you that much more a viable candidate.
4. Take dance classes, and in as many styles as possible. Modern, tap and jazz are good bets.
Actresses who can sing, dance and act have a far better chance of getting hired, and hired more often, than those who only have one or two of those skills.

wow, that sucks. however from what i have visible, Youtube is an convenient option to get reputation. Start video taping your self making a song and doing covers of widespread songs so you'll be able to a minimum of be youtube popular. on the whole, similar to Justin Bieber, a star will see your video (when you've got ample hits) and touch you when you've got the skillability you are saying. personally, in your dad, what can he do? im no longer a insurgent baby but when my dad did not permit me comply with my goals, i would do it besides and rub it in his face while i make it. He will have to be letting you do what you wish. Its 2010, he demands to loosen up at the disgrace ****. there is not any disgrace in being well at whatever :S so long as you are not slutty approximately it and emerge as a type of druggy/slutty celebrities, he will have to TRUST you. if no longer, do it your self. like i mentioned earlier than, YOUTUBE

If you are under 18, you will need your parents to help you, because you cannot work without their permission. Acting is under A in the dictionary. Get into your school plays, that is where you have to start.

If so, are you on the east or west coast?
Also, acting takes years and years of work...and from your heading it appears your either a child or a teen..your parents need to be behind you...
Acting is a big commitment, and do acting because you love it. Not to become famouse...
let me know if I can help
