Around 1500 B.C. something like hair gel is first mentioned in the Bible. The Israelites knew that mixing ashes and oil produced a kind of hair gel.

I don't believe the Bible mentions any particular technological inventions. In Genesis 4, it mentions "Tubalcain, an instructor of every artificer in brass and iron", referring to the development of metal craft. People who live a "simple" life, as the Israelites did, have little need for inventions. Necessity is the mother of invention, it is said. When people encounter a new situation that calls for solutions to new problems, or find a particular task too difficult, they are forced to work out an invention or method to deal with it. The Israelites were mostly herders and small farmers, and would rarely need to improve on their methods. No doubt they were joing just fine with what they had.

Depends on who you mean by "the Israelites" and what you mean by "Invent".

The current Israelis have invented a number of things.
The Israelites of the bible probably invented some things as well.

Exactly what would take some research.
