In his story, Dennett, narrator, tells us his fictionary story which deals with his identity. In the story he presents two scenarios:

Scenario 1: Dennett gets divide into two; his body (Hamlet) and his brain (Yorick). They are in different physical locations but connected with a radio waive. However, it is no sure where the Dennett is - in the Body or in Brain! Hamlet dies eventually. Now only the brain (Yorick) is alive or conscious. At this point he doesn’t have any way of communication with external world. (He is only conscious with his brain without body; therefore, it seems that Dennett is just the brain).
Scenario 2: In this scenario, a new body (Fortinbras) is created, and again Dennett’s brain is connected to the New body through radio waive. It seems that still Dennett is the brain. However, at this point, another new brain (Hubert) is created. Both Yorick and Hubert are functioning at the same way. Both can interact with the new body. !!! Now which is the Dennett?

What is this poem portraying?

ngland, in this great fight to which you go
Because, where Honour calls you, go you must,
Be glad, whatever comes, at least to know
You have your quarrel just.

Peace was your care; before the nations' bar
Her cause you pleaded and her ends you sought;
But not for her sake, being what you are,
Could you be bribed and bought.

Others may spurn the pledge of land to land,
May with the brute sword stain a gallant past;
But by the seal to which you set your hand,
Thank God, you still stand fast!

Forth, then, to front that peril of the deep
With smiling lips and in your eyes the light,
Steadfast and confident, of those who keep
Their storied scutcheon bright.

And we, whose burden is to watch and wait--
High-hearted ever, strong in faith and prayer,
We ask what offering we may consecrate,
What humble service share.

To steel our souls against the lust of ease;
To find our welfare in the common good;
To hold together, merging all degrees
In one wide brotherhoo

As far as I can remember at this time, all high key lighted shots that I have seen, have been on lite/white backgrounds.

Is there a way to do the effect in a forest location, with all the regular trees and boulders that would be found in a forest. I havent actually tried it yet, the high key effect, yet.

In camera stuff???

Just kinda curious.

For now.

Alternative history is tricky, but I'd like to see some theories. Please, never mind the "he wouldn't, because..." Assume that he had.

I know there is plenty of wonderful stories out there. Plenty of happy memories etc etc. But in the big picture, is all of this worth it when you have millions starving, millions being molested, beaten, repressed, killed etc etc. is the suffering of millions ok because there is some good out of it?

I took piano lessons a long time ago, and my teacher had this program, where you wrote music, and chose notes for the staffs and all that.

How much do these programs genereally cost? What is a good one? What is a good one that is a resonable price?

Lately, I've been getting more and more into photography, and I've noticed that when I shoot, my camera doesn't want to go below f/5.6. (I have a Canon Rebel XT digital camera with the standard lens that came with it - an 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6, I think.. that is what I can read off the lens).

This is particularly frustrating when I'm shooting in dim light - I can only push the shutter speed so high before it gets blackened out (and too low makes most shots - like at a concert with moving people - blurry). I push my ISO as high as I can....

Looking online, I thought maybe it was my lens, and am looking at a couple, including the Canon EF 85 mm f/1.8. Will this lens give me more range in aperture? Or what do I need to do?

I've noticed this quite a bit, but now it's starting to affect my photos more. (This is also the case with my 35 mm Canon Rebel camera, as well).

I don't mind getting new equipment, but I want to make sure I'm not buying something I won't ever need or use. :-)
