No. I don't feel insignificant.
Look at it like this: what are the odds you'd be here, just as you are, the person you are, with the likes, dislikes, intelligence, personality and all the rest?
Your parents probably had other children. Are they just like you? No. Not even if you're identical twins.

How do I deal with my "insignificance"? I call this my "individuality". I celebrate it. I go forward to be the best me that I can be. Hope you will do the same.
The odds against you being you are so HIGH as to be inconceivable.
So no, you're not insignificant, nor am I, or any other individual. We are all unique persons, hence significant for at least that reason if no other.
We also each have special gifts. When we find them and use them, we are expressing our uniqueness as well.

No, I do not feel meaningless; certainly not because of population statistics.
Every single person is significant to someone or something.

I do however, feel very small and insignificant in the face of nature, the universe and the whole reason for being.

Knowing that I'm the world to just one person. Or even on my own, you would'nt have lived in vain if you touched just one person with an idea. An idea sparks things in people, it has a domino effect, you tell one person one thing and they get effected by it they'll tell another person something the same, and so on and so on, and then your idea has spread through out the world. Looking at the world as a whole.

I often feel lost and alone in the world. I want to acheive big things but sometimes I doubt whether that wil ever happen. Friends help me deal with it and make my feel worthwhile.

i figure there is a reason for everything like natural disasters is the earths way of balancing itself. so i just put down the butterfly effect. that in one way or another my actions are making a ripple effect and changin the course of history. i figure i didnt die at birth like my mother was told i would for a reason and that reason is to impact on ppls lives whether positive or negative i reckon it all changes the future. its the laws of physics and the laws of physics can not be broke.

People "out there" are the same as the person I know "in here".

I love both, respect both, rejoice in the success of both, act to benefit both. Any division, of significance/non-significance, or any other division, is one I have created or adopted. It does not exist outside of my creation and in knowing that, I can see through it - it to something simpler beneath.

Hope this helps.

Definitely not. I just feel a sense of oneness with the universe. I am just one tiny part of what makes up this wide world and to me it is awe-inspiring.

Yep, especially when I run into people who are richer, smarter, or better looking than myself. It really gets frustrating from time to time...

Not at all! We all are significant! As well as being part of the Whole.
