Hedwig's death caught me completely by surprise. I was not expecting it, and so early in the book!

I really don't understand why Rowling had to kill off Hedwig.

Alright so I was IM-ing (that's "instant messaging" for you old people hehehehe) my stepbrother and he was talking about his homework assignment for health class. I asked him what the assignment was. Then he says "hold on a sec. i need to help my stepdad". I'm like "k" (that's "okay" for you old people hehehehe).

Anyway he signs off a minute later. And he never returned and it's been two hours.

So tell me what you think happened to him? Be creative, but not dirty. Hehehehehe.

"I Can Have A Pony Anytime"

I Can Have A Pony Anytime
Mom and Dad say.....
"Wait till you are older"
(but, I brought a pony in the house)
They don't even know it!
He has big brown eyes
A long soft tail
Black hair on his neck
And the rest of him is brown
He answers to the call of "Uno"
(that means number one in Spanish)
I can have a pony anytime
All I have to do is.....
Close my eyes
and fall asleep
Zzzzzzzzzzzz
"Hi Uno!"

Run Along

You
you can
you can be
anything you want
aside
from who
I am

just
just wait
wait and see
brush off my troubles
runaway
from who
I am

{'cause you don't need me anymore
I'll hold you back
I'll let you down
go on without me child

I'm a "mess" up

floating in hades
about to drown

in
my
own
prison

cell's
open

run along}

don't
don't trail
trail behind
so much awaits you
stay in school
away
from who
I am

death
death awaits
your calling
and he'll laugh
as you are falling
straight
into who
I am

{no, you don't need me anymore
I'll hold you back
I'll let you down
go on without me child

I'm a "mess" up

floating in hades
about to drown

in

Thou Shall Never Know....

Secretes I hide
locked tight inside
If only I
chance to comply

A bitter wish
I wish for thee
A dream I dream
most secretly

One of the pleasures
maybe pain?
After exposure
we speak again?

Sinful yes,
blasphemous?
Yes, I admit
it does break trust

Still, he
who doesn’t know
I fear to show,
(just turn and go)

I thought,
perchance that I?
was so bold?
now I deny

Someone I seek
I’ve never told
so sadly
thou shall never know.......

I have a DSR-like camera and really like shallow depth of field shots. Using a wide aperture (aperture priority, f2.8), I took pictures of a row of cars (at a dealership), focused on one and expected the rest further away to be blurry. It didn't come out right....what could have been my problem?

Here are a few links to the pics.

We all dressed up for Halloween
My wife looks like a dance hall queen
She says to get a real good treat
You need a look that can't be beat

So we went to a costume party
I think some went to party hearty
So when you think you've seen it all
I think you missed this costume ball

The party had a rule in place
That in the end you show your face
Well my wife was drinking her red wine
And she was feeling really fine

So when came time for show and tell
My wife yells out Oh what the hell
She started dancing on a table
But she was drunk and wasn't able

I quess the room was spinning round
And off that thing she did come down
Just where she landed I can't say
But by his smile it made his day

Then what she said made his face read
I think she thought she was in bed
She says she thinks she isn't ready
She justs wants her litte teddy

He is well known for eventing V-2 during the Nazi Regime and contributing the Apollo Plan under the US Government. My question is, did von Braun MORALLY deserve to become major figure of the US space industry? I heard he wasn't only Nazi Party member but also involved in the SS. Was he a true Nazist and anti-Semite?
