Yes, being Spanish, I've grown up in the Spanish culture. It's so beautiful and inspiring...I used to take all of it for granted (the traditions, the music, the people) but I've learned to appreciate it all for being born into it. It's a part of me!

There is NO SPANISH CULTURE. There are many different Spanish cultures. The one I live in is very 16th century. Very rural. There are thing to enjoy and admire. There are things to detest.
I really dislike begging children. I know these families. There is no economic NECESSITY for the children to beg. Gringos taught them to do it. It is disgusting.
There is no excuse for child prostitution. It is quite common here. Very Spanish.
Many Spanish customs are rather savage. Let's look at the whole picture and take the workable and leave the rest.

I love the Spanish culture! I wish I had money to visit Spain. I love the food, their history, their dancing, their country, their passion for life!
I love any culture really other than America because most other places celebrate with dignity and passion their culture. We sadly celebrate it with a so-called holiday from work and a bbq :(
