Damn shad your poetry is so very awesome that your really need to write a poetry book.your poem brought a tear to my eye as that;s how i feel about my young son and hope he doesn;t [pick up any of my bad habits. only the good ones i have left in me.,.,

I too left a star on your poem
it is well written
I don't have children
from what I read in the first part of
the poem you wanted the child to accomplish
what the parent didn't.
All parents are like that
and want the children to do better
It also says they don't need you anymore
but that is not true
they need to be loved and so do you
love will never go away.
