Or as mankind progresses we will continue to become more advanced and thus the flow of questions will only keep increasing...

that is until the end of time... ah yes... I sound like a scientist....

If so, why? What proof do you have? What do you think the afterlife is like? Is it different for different people i.e. hell for sinfull people and heaven for good people, or does everyone get the same treatment?

If not, why not? What proof do you have? Do you think we are reborn? Do you think we just cease to exist entirely?

Thank you!

. can functionality and reliability be "bled dry" by a scam.
People notice that functionality and reliability is missing, or not being added as expected, but they fell powerless, just as a person would feel powerless if someone had access to their bank account number and was able to "bleed the account dry".

If on a project such as Collins Australian submarines, there was a question mark over functionality or reliability, would this be a probable explanation - an inappropriate person has somehow "seized control" of a "computer account" and is doctoring code, version numbers, etc. ?

Were Americans allowed to be in France, specifically Paris, during World War II? And if so did they need to have some sort of permission? I've been looking all over the internet for websites that could help me but I haven't found any!

The USSR, together with USA and Britain, were among the original sponsors of the creation of Israel. There are quotes from Soviet leaders where they describe even the racist terrorists of the Stern Gang as "freedom fighters." Within a few years, though, the Soviets made a complete 180-degree turn, and besides attacking Israel, attacked even principled Jewish leftists who were anti-zionist, embracing the crudest of racist anti-Semitic stereotypes. I am under no illusion that the USSR’s politics were based on any principles. Whether you agree with Marxism or not, it IS a system of principles, and as far as I am concerned they abandoned it in the 1920s. So how to explain this switch? Their politicians may have been unprincipled, but they weren’t stupid. How can the turnabout be explained? What did they hope to gain? One book I read ascribed the change to "Arab oil," but the USSR was itself the world's biggest oil-producing nation for most of its history.
What reasons could there be?

What is love?
That you are so fond of. .

What is life?
That makes it worth living. .

What is experience?
Compared with age. .

Hurt and pain,
Have filled my days,

Finding my smile,
Like sunshine,
At the end of each day,
The sun sets,

Night comes,
Joy & laughter,
Taken with the day,
Lost in the night,

The sun shines,
For one day,
Then vanishes,

As the seasons,
summer is here,
Winter freezes it over,

What is life?
All comes to an end,
The season leaves,
The sun goes down,

What is meant to last?
You can take the physical,
From within my grasp,
You can bind my soul,
Break my spirit,
Destroy my will,
that says live, breath,
Find a reason to be brutal,
Destory the strings of my heart,

enemy so free and strong,
In the end,
I'm not bound,
by sorrow nor grief,

Alive in my mind,
As sprinkles of rain,
admist a drout,
My mind,
Freedom of thought.

I have about 40 of my photos that I'm putting in order for a slide show on an erotic (not porn) photo blog. I need advice from graphic design oriented people: how should I organize the photos. Here are some options:

Keeping themes together or alternating themes like a) fine art nudes, b) photoshopped fantasy images c) abstract images

By spatial format: alternate landscape and portrait formats.

By focus of image: portraiture focused or focus on the body.

By color: monochromatic images vs. multi-colored ones

Or any other organization? If you think you'd have to see the photos, I could direct you to the site. The idea is to offer some contrast between images so as not to create a monotonous appearance or experience.

I'm assuming that most of you will have to admit that you were taught to be religious. So, if you were taught to be religious and you were told of what is to be religious by other people who were also taught to be religious where does the conviction come from that all this is true?

Why are you convictions in biblical history any less relevant then someone else who believes in say Greek Mythology? Both are impossible to prove,
Both have/had the ear of millions,
Wars were started in both names,
Millions died in both names

Greek mythology after all has stories very similar to the bible (resurrections, imaculate conceptions, wars, famine, persecution, devouts, etc) and people believed in those gods for centuries. So why isn't there churches of Zues, or Ares, around?

** Answering this question requires thought. So any response within 1 hour of this post is completely useless.

it's about a germaphobe family and their son (who isn't a germaphobe) invites a family over for dinner. When they come over, the family makes fools of themselves because they keep freaking out over germs and such. Eventually the invited family is driven away. Eventually the mom gets deathly ill from the common cold because she didn't have immunity to it. Any title ideas??

it's really just a sketch, done it in 2 minutes, but I loved the message...French writer & philosopher Simone de Beauvoir said that ''pour parler de soi, il faut parler de tout le reste''. you simply can't talk about yourself without mentioning all the rest, the world around you...
and since there are a lot of artists on the board, any technical advice would be greatly appreciated
