it's really just a sketch, done it in 2 minutes, but I loved the message...French writer & philosopher Simone de Beauvoir said that ''pour parler de soi, il faut parler de tout le reste''. you simply can't talk about yourself without mentioning all the rest, the world around you...
and since there are a lot of artists on the board, any technical advice would be greatly appreciated

Absences of the perspective, apart from drawing implements lay bare most inadequately at the top left hand corner of the portrait, I think highlights this. Further more, the concealment of mouth with written words is perhaps the most ironic and most powerful message this picture imparts, which is complemented by intense and purposeful gaze of the eyes. These painted words are in fact an adequate pictorial representation of the meaning of what is said - that you simply cannot talk about your self without mentioning all the rest, the world around you – where words are supposed to be written and understood for there meaningfulness, they should not be painted, especially not where they should be heard and not just looked at.
