wwell i guess what i wanted to say is that sometimes you gotta sacrifie stuff things situations, to make the one you love happy, because its true, there's probably things you don't like doing, but you'll do it, because you love them, I don't know if I'm explaining this right, but do you know what I mean?

I loved someone that nothing in the world could make happy.
I have loved someone that only my leaving made happy.
I love someone whom simply returning his love has made happy.
Lots of words or phrases fit. What do you want to say? Provide some clues, and maybe we can narrow the selection down more appropriately for you.
EDIT - given your additional information, "sacrifice," "compromise," and "forgo or delay your own desires" would all fit.
Sometimes you have to inconvenience yourself to make the one you love happy.
Sometimes you have to do with out your own little pleasures to make the one you love happy.
I've been married for 30 years. Making someone you love happy is a constant negotiation. Some days he needs more. Some days I need more. We both need each other most days, so it all works out. What you can not do is forget who you are in your heart to make another happy. It won't work, and will make you tremendously unhappy in the bargain. Good luck. Better yet, good love.
