It's sad the way people start to forget certain books just because they are written more than 50 years ago. L. Frank Baum's books are so well written they are timeless.

I would like to know which book to start reading AFTER the Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

My mother bought me a used airbrush, and a friend of mine wants me to make her a t shirt.
what kind of paint is preferable? how does it come?
water colors? acrylics? what do i need to do to them, thin them down or something?
my airbrush came with little glass bottles with special lids that connect to the airbrush.
im not sure what brand of brush it is (i couldnt find a name) but it says "AIR-BRUSH" on the side. from pics i found on the internet, it looks like a HSENG HS-38.
so I dunno.
any help?

Bit broader than my last question. Or ineffective partisan resistance if you want.

Would love to read any comments people have; no need for false praise, as I have a thick skin regarding my admittedly amateur poetry. For more explanation on ekphrastic poetry, see this link to a lonely question:

Viewing "Water Lilies"

Quick glances find canvas
spread with serenity,
a soothing glimpse of
undisturbed pond.
Look again:
closer looks show
points of color
bursting, a
pondscape teeming -
proletariat minutiae
quietly rebelling as the
whole struggles to quell
microcosmic uprisings.

I wandered lonely as a Cloud
That floats on high o'er Vales and Hills,
When all at once I saw a crowd,
A host of golden daffodils;
Beside the lake, beneath the trees,
Fluttering and dancing in the breeze.

Continuous as the stars that shine
And twinkle on the milky way,
They stretched in never-ending line
Along the margin of a bay:
Ten thousand saw I at a glance,
Tossing their heads in sprightly dance.

The waves beside them danced, but they
Out-did the sparkling waves in glee:-
A poet could not but be gay
In such a jocund company:
I gazed-and gazed-but little thought
What wealth the show to me had brought:

For oft when on my couch I lie
In vacant or in pensive mood,
They flash upon that inward eye
Which is the bliss of solitude,
And then my heart with pleasure fills,
And dances with the Daffodils.

I love reading romance books placed in the time of the Civil War and Regency England and the Old West. My favorite author is Julie Garwood (pre-murder mysteries). Who is yours?

Please answer with serious answers only.

Personally I don't think it matters either way, it didn't detract from the story at all, but I don't think it's a big deal either.

What do you think?
