It's sad the way people start to forget certain books just because they are written more than 50 years ago. L. Frank Baum's books are so well written they are timeless.

I would like to know which book to start reading AFTER the Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

Others have listed the original 14 Oz books in order, but if you're looking for a complete list of those and the ones written by other authors, try this website. It has anything and everything you need to know about the Oz books.

I agree that the first 14 are the best and truest OZ books, but you have to commend others for continuing such a beloved series!

The two replies above answer your question, but I would like to caution you to not read any of the numerous sequels by authors other than L. Frank Baum. The original 14 were wonderful books, but the others read like bad fan-fiction.
