I have a report for school due Monday on Edward Herbert Thompson. I need at least 2 books (non-encyclopedia) and 2 internet sources (no ".com"s) that have a lot of information on this guys life, greatest achievements, career downfalls, and his early/late life. 25 points to the best answer question. ~thanks.

I'm particularly interested in reading a few pages of "Day by Day Armageddon", because it sounds like something I'd like but not sure if I want to buy it yet.

Your help is appreciated! Thanks!

Is there any chance that Nikki Sixx is going to come to Atlanta for the book signing of "The Heroin Diaries"? maybe extra dates added that I don't know about?

Like I have one story that starts with the idea of a close knit group of adventurers (it's based on an online game) that need another character for their group. Their last resort is a well-settled stuck up person who had thought to retire their adventuring ways. Now when I first thought of this, the first thing I thought of was 'Oh no, I hope this doesn't sound too close to The Hobbit', even though that wasn't even near my mind. When can I get away with a similar situation from another book or what can I do to make it different without scrapping the story?

The baddies get better weapons, and the girls are like kick *** fighters, the goodie chicks are totally useless until the end when they suddenly deck the baddie girl, the baddies seem to have all the fun, and in real life, they seem to win anyway. Pick a side guys!

Seriously, in the history of the world, someone, somewhere, must have been killed over an inappropriate fart. Be it for farting in front of a King, or in the air space of a gun-slinger, it must have happened at least once.

My friend was asking about a camera today that he remember was made awhile back- and it was really just a crappy film camera, so at first people didn't really like to use it- but then they found out that the distortion was actually really cool looking! I know I've heard of this camera before, I just can't remember the name...

I would like to get free public domain books in my email. When I have some downtime at work I would like to be able to read a chapter or two a day. Does anyone know of any website that has free public domain books ie. Tom Sawyer or some other classic book, that will send to my email daily?

I am in 8th grade and I have recently read the book The Catcher in the Rye. Can someone explain to me what it means when Holden says he wants to be the 'catcher in the rye'? What is the metaphor? And what is going on at the end?

Had a difficult time finding any smaller publishing companies on google search engine. Seemed to mainly come up with the big publishing companies or paid advertisements for self-publishing services.
