I plan on trying to get published in a couple of years and I like to write darker type books (drama, horror, etc.)
My mom is a devoted Christian, as is my grandma. My mother-in-law is a devoted Jehovah's Witness...
This one part in my book gets pretty graphic, I read it back and was even like, ugh.
But it has to happen in the book to make the bad guy come across the way I want him to be portrayed... if it doesn't happen then he's not as intimidating....
My family is really anxious to read my novel when I'm done. I don't know if I should leave it in and just hope they don't criticize, or take it out, or lessen it or what.
What would you do?

I have pictures both framed (with glass) or unframed that when photographed are light at the center and dark to the edges. I've tried this with and without flash (as not to have the flash bounce off the glass).

In your answer, you might state the error in the print of the book

Hey, I'm looking to do some photography at little league games, when they start back up, and I am needing a good lens. I have a 70-300 lens. It isn't fast or sharp, but it will do. I also have a 50mm 1.8 lens and a manual focus 28mm. I have around $500 to spend, and I've been looking at a few lenses.
Sigma 17-70mm 2.8-4
Sigma 24-70mm 2.8
Sigma 30mm 1.4
Nikon 55-200mm VR
Sigma 105mm 2.8 macro
Any suggestions? Better choices? Thanks in advance.

We Need Love Of Each Other
Written By Semper Fi Reborn 9/21/07

Why don't dead people or babies,
Ever hate their neighbors?
Why don't they make up rumors,
When asked for favors?
Don't say that, One's an infant,
And the Other's expired.
Because One is pure,
And the Other got tired!
Of the rants and ravings,
Of the hateful souls.
That make you rather die,
Than be born or grow old.

I have the media talking,
March here and march there.
But when the march is done,
Is there love anywhere?
Is there love that comes out,
When the cameras stop?
Was that love,
When I heard a gunshot?
How about when a kid has the means,
To tie a noose?
Or six other kids,
Let there anger loose?
Then twelve people,
Hand a sentence down.
Then tens of thousands,
March on a town.
We say we,
Look for justice,
Yet, is any found?
Don't put your trust in men,
They'll let you down!
Keep your eyes on God,
And prayer in your heart!
And vow that NO Thing,
Can dampen that spark.
We need to love our fellow man!

Seriously...
I feel I don't know anything about my own self.
I feel only God knows about me even though I'm my own me.
I want to know more.
I'm confused.

HelP...

I was recently cast as the male lead in the school play, but as the understudy. It was between me and this other guy and he won I guess lol. I'm happy for making that, but at the same time its just kind of a downer bc I'm going to have to learn all the lines for nothing. In the meanwhile, because of the fact I'm the understudy for the lead, my real part is the smallest possible. I understand she did this to not overwhelm me, but honestly, I'm not sure if I should even bother learning the lines. Should I be proud, or is the understudy part truly not a big deal?

Invisible I cant feel ya
Imaginary friend
In the back of my mind
A clock in time

You’re the mister
On to miss
The kiss inside copulates
is the one I reminisce

The one melted
The one under your fist
The one in side warming the persist
You think that this is
What
No baby no crush
This I s a vase encased with no dust
The allusion
