My question concerns the possibility of a rebelious overthrow of the American government on a national level.

This question has nothing to do with the current administration, the war in Iraq, or any political agenda, so please leave any liberal, conservative, and centerist banter out.

This is more directly related to the views expressed by many philosophers during the enlightenment, that the government is made to serve the people, and if that government becomes corrupt, then it is the right of the people to rise up against it. Thomas Jefferson, himself, said that a government should be changed every hundred years or so, just for upkeep.

I wonder, if the American people were to grow tired or oppressed by the constitutional government, if they could rise up, and take back their power.

Even the Civil War was a little different. A geographic area attempted to secede from the union, as opposed to an overthrow of government power, as in the French Revolution.

None of us chose to be born, so why is everyone always trying to choose NOT to die? Science seems obsessed with prolonging life, why? Who wants to live to be really old?

The French Revolution ended with Napoleon Bonaparte establishing a dictatorship similar in many ways to
the Old Regime that the Revolution had abolished. How did such a turnaround take place?

I have so many ideas but particularly want to write about the experience of care and help others overcome what will be a huge emotional hurdle in adulthood. I have a long list of valuable experiences that I would like to write about along similar lines but don't know where to start, book type etc
All I have is a title "close encounters with an emotional mind" which to me encompasses the unnatural experience of feeling suicidal?
Any suggestions please

Let's say we went back in time to the beginning of the universe and everything is created in exactly the same way. Then the Earth is formed and it revolves around the sun in the same way, but now everything is randomized. Would the world be exactly the same as it is now? That is to say that is it by some sort of destiny that we are here or rather by random chance of one in a billion odds?

More specifically, would all life require DNA to reproduce? Would the same human inventions be invented at the same time? Would computers use a non-binary system? The possibilities are endless, or are they?

lately i asked this question:
if god is almighty, can he create a great rock that he can not lift ?

most replies didn't answer my question maybe because the question wasn't clear . so i'll re-ask the question in another way:
Can God create another God who is more powerful than him/her ?

Win it with reason and passion. I know the question is too general, almost like asking which book is your favorite but just humor me :) Don't any of you even say Bible or Koran...

It measures about 29 1/8" x 38 1/8". On the bottom right in small print reads: IMP EDW ANCOURT, PARIS. There is no copyright date, etc so I'm tring to figure out who printed it & when. I've searched poster with above info but 0 results come back. Other posters like this have all been of different dimensions. Some near this size has the name of poster & artist across the bottom very large like the poster was sold in a gift shop, etc. This one does not. It's gorgeous and proudly adorns the wall of my small film office but people ask about it and I have to shrug
