...the struggle to protect one's subjectivity from annihilation by modern materialism and a technologically driven society...that scientific egoism replaces the "mystery" of being with a false scenario of human life composed of technical "problems" and "solutions." The human subject cannot exist in the technological world, instead being replaced by a human object...technology has a privileged authority with which it persuades the subject to accept his place as "he" in the internal dialogue of science; and as a result, man is convinced by science to rejoice in his own annihilation.
Science makes man into an object. Morality is but a condition between objects.
The Arts are another story...the morality can go either way or be totally neutral...and is considered as a way to evoke emotion such as shock value, etc...and is often considered relative in nature.

Before I go on and explain my ideas. We must believe that morals is made up of truth as one of its elements, and morals have their similarities and objectiveness in the name of Greater Will.
Also I must share my definitions and point of views about Progress of Sciences and Arts. Progress of science, the discoveries of the laws of universe & its creative applications. How can the mere progress of knowledge actually corrupt or purify the morals of the livingS? If one thought it was possible, there will have been a misunderstanding. Our fellow human being chose to corrupt our own morals with Greed, Self-Centre, Arrogant and Bloodfirst intentions by progress of science, politics and religions as tools. Lets not to blame the tools but the killers :)
In the last 200 hundred years, mankind has been living with advance technologies more than any centuries in the past. Last century was the bloodiest period amount history, there were two world wars, a cold war and terrorism. However can we shamelessly state that our human errors is casue by morals corruptions due to Science? In my understanding progres of Science is merely a tool exclusive to human species on earth.
I strongly believe the progress of Science have been an option of purifing our morals, for it shows us truth of scientific selve and our world. Like I mention earlier, its a tool. Common sense must prevail and sharp tool shall be used with cautions. Sadly we are not caution enough to purify our moral with such option all the time.
Progress of Arts, Antiques, pictures, musics, sculptures (we will exclude martial arts in this category for its physical powers) etc Can we live without them? No, we can not, becasue every civilisation has it. Therefore it shall be a necessary condition to our greatness
Lets first look at the contributions of arts. What is arts? . How do Arts corrupt our morals? When they are used as tools by immoral individuals to harm and cause harm to others on mental levels.
Lets think this way a beautiful picture drive people to be racist would be a fine example. A materpiece of evil lord/false god statute made to be worshiped for destructive and harmful intenions will be another example.
How do Arts contribute to purify our morals? Arts need creativity in mankind to be conducted, shall Arts bring out the best of men in many cases. Reality speaking, the progress of Arts is purifying to morals. Musics bring out happiness and connect nationalities. Statues, pictures, and languages materialised the teaching of spiritual practices for those curious individuals to better them-selve. Furthermore language allow our access to history, so we can learn mistake from the past and aviod repeating same mistakes.

Science, in and of itself, does not corrupt nor purify. Moral principles, both positive and negative, are purely human traits. It is the indivigual that corrupt or pyurifies.

Pure morality is an oxymoron. The science and the arts serve to expose corruption and seeks to expose its gestation or potential birth place and time, that's why we have morals.
The Will is positive, the Judgment is negative.

corrupt. Because all science is already available the science of everything is written within the ancient Vecic wisdom which came with the whole material creation from God.(also known as Krishna, Allah, Jehovah, Vishnu, Rama, etc.) He gave everything but man thinks they know better than God who made everything. Being that most scientists deny the existence of God they are baffled time and time again due to their lack of surrender. That is not science that is mental speculation. Real science is unchangeable and factual. Thanks

At the most, the sciences has weaponised the already corrupt, a little more. Otherwise, science & art, like even money, currency too, has been meant to make life more comfortable.

Purify them
As each new advance of science or art appears in history, mankind is forced to evaluate how their morals should be applied to that advancement.
For example, historical advancements such as TV and radio, like the Gutenburg press before it, forced moral evaluations of the human freedom of expression.
Even now, we are evaluating how our morals apply to stem cell research, privacy, and cloning. As we tackle these morally, both personal and cultural morals will be refined and "purified".

The notions of "corruption" and "purification" are subjective, like many things in life.
And what you have failed to set out beforehand is what it is supposed to be corrupting or purifying them OF.
As such... without knowing in what context of purity you are asking the question... or indeed whose morals you are talking about.... the question is meaningless and unanswerable.
