I don't know how to write a sword fight scene.
As hard as i try they come out the same. Too long and too boring.

Does anyone have a good website that would help with my problem or advice?

im pretty good at reading so i dont want a really easy book. I dont like books, ive never read a book i like except when i was 7 and under or The Hobbit. I've read the hitchhikers guide to the galxy and i liked it and im trying to get ahold of war and peace, and the prince. does anybody know of any really interesting action books

Okay, maybe I just came here to vent, but everytime I walk into a bookstore, it seems like my only choices of a read are books with titles like 'my shitty childhood,' 'woe is me, I had such a hard beginning,' and other such tales. Either that or so called self-penned celebrity bios', (and let's face it, anyone who pays attention to the small print will realise that Katie Price never contributed one word to her so called novels, isn't this worse than plaigarism?? At best, it makes her a liar. And why are the publishing houses shelling out millions in royalties to so called celebrities when for the most part, their books end in bargain bins for 50p?) Who actually buys this rubbish? Where have all the real books gone? You know, the ones where writers had something profound to say, or books that allowed for some adventure. I read books to escape real life for a little while, not be confronted by it. Anyone else feel me?

ok so i'm planning out a series. so far i have the first 3 chapters planned out of the first book. i started it like over a month ago. for 3 weeks already, i haven't touched it at all. or at least i open the document on MS Word, and i just can't seem to figure wat will happen next.

i tried going to the park on nice days, but i'd end up just watching other ppl so that can't be my muse. sometimes i do get inspired from my dreams (thats wat inspired me for this book and soon i decided i wanted it to be a series).

but now my dreams have nothing to do with wat i'm writing about.

so all i wanna kno is wats ur muse and other sources of inspiration?

this will really help me out. please help?

There is no point putting this in the music section because hardly anyone is in there....

i am doing the artwork for a friends E.P single
and i need too know which of my 5 designs is the best....
its only a Low Budget E.P, but it needs artwork low budget or not.

The band is called 'Free Tibet' and the E.P is called 'Be A Man, Grow A Beard'

These two are my favourites of all time! I wrote them after one dream I had that actually came true (hence the psychicy questions I keep asking in other areas of Answers)


"Last Chance"

I had a dream
Of dancing skeletons and fire,
Death and destruction,
The creaking of iron.
Metal joints for elbows and knees;
Jerking movements of the undead.
It's your last chance -
Flames are spreading;
Children crying,
People running
Through the fairground
As it burns.


"Skeleton Dance"

Clutching each other in a bony grip
They circle the room in a continuous sweep;
Feet never touching down.
They have never known another waltz,
Never heard another tune
Than the haunting chimes which echo
Round the ballroom music-box.
By flick of a switch they are frozen in time,
Their gowns now ashes,
Their bones now dust.
But the dancers exist
Somewhere within nothingness;
Sweeping dead air at disbelievers
As they dance through their long-forgotten time.

As I read Nietzsche and consider history it seems to.

After reading for years and asking many people, I come across basically two arguments for why we should be moral without God:

1. Good people want the world to be a good place, so its good to want the world to be a good place.
2. Consequences, Reward and Punishment, what goes around comes around. If you're good to people they'll be good to you. Cooperation.

These reasons fall apart. The first is just circular logic and doesn't go anywhere. The second is valid most of the time, but people can get away with things and escape this reward and punishment social system with money, power, force, deception. Any student of history can see that.

I read some Kant and Plato and Bible and kin selection and Nietzsche, and the only universally sound reason to be good/moral that convinces me is the idea that one day we will each stand before God to give an account of our lives.
