Well I have this great idea for a story.. Its a teen story that girls can relate to but the main character takes it to the extreem.. (its about unrequetted love sort of) anyways I've tried starting it three times but I just cant get it to go the way I want. Should I start an outline and write based on the outline? I already can picture all the characters and the setting but I just can't seem to write the prolouge and the beginning.

Creepy Scary Facts About 9 - 11
Follow the steps at the end, this is pretty creepy!

1) New York City has 11 letters

2) Afghanistan has 11 letters.

3) Ramsin Yuseb (The terrorist who threatened to destroy the Twin
Towers in 1993) has 11 letters.

4) George W Bush has 11 letters.

This could be a mere coincidence, but this gets more interesting:

1) New York is the 11th state.

2) The first plane crashing against the Twin Towers was flight number
11.

3) Flight 11 was carrying 92 passengers. 9 + 2 = 11

4) Flight 77 which also hit Twin Towers, was carrying 65 passengers.
6+5 = 11

5) The tragedy was on September 11, or 9/11 as it is now known. 9 + 1+ 1 = 11

6) The date is equal to the US emergency services telephone number 911.
9 + 1 + 1 = 11.

Sheer coincidence..?! Read on and make up your own mind:

1) The total number of victims inside all the hi-jacked planes was 254. >2 + 5 + 4 = 11.

2) September 11 is day number 254 of the calendar year.
Again 2 + 5 + 4 = 11.

3) The Madrid bombing took place on 3/11/2004. 3 + 1 + 1 + 2 + 4 = 11.

4) The tragedy of Madrid happened 911 days after the Twin Towers
incident.

Sheer coincidence..?! Read on and make up your own mind:

4) The tragedy of Madrid happened 911 days after the Twin Towers incident.

Now this is where things get totally eerie:

The most recognised symbol for the US, after the Stars & Stripes, is the Eagle. The following verse is taken from the Quran, the Islamic

holy book:
"For it is written that a son of Arabia would awaken a fearsome Eagle. he wrath of the Eagle would be felt throughout the lands of Allah and lo, while some of the people trembled in despair still more rejoiced: for the wrath of the Eagle cleansed the lands of Allah and there was peace."

That verse is number 9.11 of the Quran.

Still uncovinced about all of this..?! Try this and see how you feel afterwards, it made my hair stand on end:

Open Microsoft Word and do the following:

1. Type in capitals Q33 NY. This is the flight number of the first
plane to hit one of the Twin Towers.

2. Highlight the Q33 NY.

3. Change the font size to 48.

4. Change the actual font to the WINGDINGS

scary huh??

Do you really want to know why I’m in a place like this? Of course you don’t, you’re just trying to do your job. (sighs) I wanted a place to escape to from the torment of people and their criticisms. I tried the first drug ever offered to me, and the instant I drew in the breath, I knew I had found my escape. The feelings were nothing like the world I grew up to know, and I loved it. I was instantly addicted and I didn’t feel any guilt at all. For the first time in my life I was happy!(smiling sadly) Is it so wrong for me to be happy that I’m stuck in a place like this, talking to another person who doesn’t care?

My teacher wants 4 reasons as to why Reconstruction failed...

The main reasons I know are those associated with the society indeed granting equal rights to African Americans, but they weren't provided with the same privileges as a white man received.

Either McDonald's takes away the fattening foods from it's menu, or consumers will continue the obesity epidemic.
If McDonald's changes it's menu, people will stop eating there and it's employees will inadvertently lose their jobs.
If the obesity epidemic continues, people will be at risk for diabetes, heart disease and multiple other deadly health problems.
Thus, either McDonalds employees inadvertently lose their jobs or the obesity epidemic will continue, leading people to suffer from multiple deadly health problems.

I mean, I just saw the most amazing sunset. Why does it look so beautiful to me? How does our brain determine what is pleasing to our eye and what isn't? Is this something instilled in us when we are born or do we learn from others what is considered beautiful?

Thanks.

I was thinking about the whole evoltuion/creation debate the other day and this interesting question popped into my head. Now I'm not that concerned with whether evolution is true or not but if so then why? I know its supposed to be because of the survival instinct. But why do we have a survival instinct? Why does everything fight to save its own life and continue the life of it's species? I could really care less what you think of evolution or creationism. I just really want all you people to think about this. just pondering this mystery gives me a beautiful feeling.

In school, we get to pick a subject to do a history report on, and I chose the samurai. I don't really know where to find good, reliable information. I also don't want to search google because I am unsure about how accurate most of the information is. It only has to be a couple of pages, so I just need to know the most important and interesting facts about them. Any information or links would greatly be appreciated. Thank you,
R.

Quiet, angelic Rose Tallon, born as a commoner, is astounded when she becomes a chamber maid for Princess Elizabeth herself and is raised in the grandest palace in the world.
Headstrong, striking Julia Browning, born to a lady-in-waiting, has been dreaming about the moment she would be Elizabeth’s maid all her life.
Rose and Julia are best friends-and they intend on staying that way forever.
But as the two of them mature and blossom into stunning young women, they are suddenly catapulted into the lavish-and dangerous-world of English society. As their social status begins to rise, the competition for money, jewels, and men becomes increasingly manipulative and treacherous.
To the point of exploitation. To the point of betrayal.
To the point of murder.

This would be set in late 1600s England.

Many people describe their philosophy for life or living. We rarely hear from people what philosophy they don't follow and why.

For example, I will not follow a hedonistic philosophy. A hedonist takes on pleasure in the moment at the expense of suffering in the future. (The difference between immediate and delayed gratification.)
