Many people describe their philosophy for life or living. We rarely hear from people what philosophy they don't follow and why.

For example, I will not follow a hedonistic philosophy. A hedonist takes on pleasure in the moment at the expense of suffering in the future. (The difference between immediate and delayed gratification.)

Let me tell that if Jaysri devi dasi is hell bent upon following disciplic successions, she doesn't really have a future.

And she says that she will not follow the wrong guru. Is she capable of that judgement. Until she proves to me that, I will not follow jaysri devi dasi for sure. I am concerned about my future.

I would not follow thw philosophy of a religion that worships a fony goD and points fingers at more intelligent people in veiled attempts to criticise while pretending to have half an ounce of sense when you don't.... You know..., like christianity.
Cheers.

Since parts of what I believe is my philosophy in life are derived from not just one governing body, I have trouble answering this question with clarity. I will simply reply by saying whatever in not my philosophy in life is not what my philosophy in life happens to be...take care...

I will not follow false gurus. I will only accept a guru who is in one of the 4 pure disciplic successions which is authorized by all Vedic literature. I also only accept truth that in alignment with that. I do not accept any one who is a self appointed guru nor anyone guru thinks they are God or will become God to me he is DOG.

Wow, those are all good philosophies not to have. Also he who has the most toys when he dies wins. Not sure how that goes. I'm not into material things.
