Check out the refrigerator which became more popular for home use in the 1920-30s replacing the icebox. It was probably one the the most revolutionary inventions of that time period.

In 1900, automobile was a curiosity, radio didn't exist, and airplane was thought to be an interesting possibility. By 1939, automobile was a mainstream transportation mode, radio became a big deal in both communications and entertainment, and airplanes became widely used in both military and civilian applications.

I'm going to go with the aircraft. In addition to its military application in the Great War, contributing to the demise of the battleship as the main line vessel between the wars, you have the simple fact that you go from the Wright Bros plane to the DC3 capable of transatlantic flights. Pretty impressive.
