I used to read a lot of fantasy, but then it got harder to find something I'd like, if that makes sense. If anyone could suggest anything, I like Trickster's Choice and Trickster's Queen by Tamora Pierce, Eragon and Eldest by Christopher Paolini, Harry Potter, obviously, so please don't give me a thousand of those, and yes, I've read Twilight and New Moon even though that's not technically fantasy. I'm working on getting Eclipse now. Just clearing the air, because I know I'll be getting tons of Potter and Twilight recommendations. I do prefer romance with the fantasy, but I guess it's okay if it's not there. Thanks in advance for your help!

My aunt, who now lives in Vermont, raises all her vegetables along with four goats. She attended the rock festival and said it changed her for life. She is the most interesting person I know not to mention one of the most intelligent. She is still a hippie with her long hair, long dresses, and beads. Does anyone have parents that attended Woodstock ( or some one you know) who have some great stories???

I am auditioning for my school play. We are doing Thornton Wilder's "Our Town." For the audition, the director would like to see two contrasting contemporary monologues, each under one minute. By contrasting, that could mean contrasting in age or gender or character type or socio-economic staus, etc. I am stuck when it comes to picking monologues, so please help. Also, any "Our Town" info would be helpful too.

This question seems to haunt me. May be the answer is different for each person. I know life's experiences make you who you are. Love, peace, getting to know yourself and God, ect. I'm not sure what I'm looking for in life, just something to open my eyes.

It seems like everyone is the same, stuck at a job they hate, year after year they live the same way. Too many people live like they are not really "alive". Nobody seems to question why they are here.

Does it matter what you career is, how much money you make, what race you are, where you live? Why do people think they can buy happiness? You do what you do and at least you exist. What could mean more?

their obligation to spread the word on some level--right? Most atheists claim people can believe whatever they want as long as no one tries to "push" their beliefs on them--follow me? Why is it then, 9 out of 10 times this debate comes up-- it's an atheist attempting to "push" his/her belief on Christians? Is this Bizarre-O world or what in here???? Shouldn't it be the other way around?

This is not an attack on either party per say-- it's just an observation about the interaction of both sides-- BOTH of which I think misbehave in this place.

Other than a couple of names of characters which are the same in the books and the movies, the movie contains nothing resembling the storyline in the book. Carlos the Jackal isn't even mentioned in the movies!

You guys sit there and blame God for all that's wrong in the world. Don't you think that we have caused a lot of pain and suffering as a race of beings? Even when God prunes some deadly people from us there are still many left to do terrible things. Some even say it's in God's name and you gobble that up. Why can't you see for a moment that God is doing a workaround because of our stubborn egotical hearts?

Silently I lie in bed awaiting sleep
To slowly creep up on me
As the night dies down and the crickets make their music
I fall asleep and dream a dream of you
Ever so softly you touch my face and softly whisper in my ear
Sweet nothings.
Your touch like a feather on my skin
Making me feel like I have sinned
Soft touches, sweet nothings, dreams of you
Waking up to no one but feeling like I spent the whole night in your arms.
On my skin I could feel your touches and your kisses wondering why and when,
Reading the stone and not forgetting that dreadful day
I had to enscript my love for you and place it upon your grave.
