People are dying left and right from hunger, lack of medicines and drinking water in Bangladesh. Bangladesh Govt does not have enough resources or money to provide relief to the flood victims. 19 million people are displaced and without food, medicines, drinking water and shelters and most of these people live in less than US$1/day. This is a human tragedy in modern era. This news was not out there because lack of media interest. As a human being, we have moral duty to help the needy regardless of any country.

Bangladeshi Americans are working hard to raise money for the flood victims. You can donate at www.changebangladesh.com for these flood victims.

I will urge every individual please be generous and help those flood victims now regardless where we live.

Thanks,

We love.
We lust.
We fight.
We fuss.
We healthy.
We ill.
We save.
We kill.
( Then )
We forgive and forget.

I've started acting in student films, a feature, some extra work, local theatre, etc. During an audition and callback I found that the cost of travel to LA is staggering. An 800 mile round trip costs me 3 to 4 times what the job would pay. I've started to concentrate on gigs up here, but eventually I'll have to deal with the travel issue. Any ideas?

Thomas was born in 1731, in Arborfield, Berkshire and his wife, , Jane May was born in 1733. I've got very far back with her, but with Thomas, he's where the line stops.

I did once ask someone for help regarding this tree and he said he'd get back to me but he never did... Does anyone know of any resources, or know themselves, anything further back than this man?

In my veiws, the sense of smell is the most important. It tends to stimulate intellect, and is the most memorable. We can relive experiences just by smelling a familiar scent.

I love the scent of orange blossoms, clean hair, fresh laundry, Christmas trees, and cinnamon apple pie baking in the oven.

I will select whomever is most passionate about their answer.

Nothing to fear
My path is clear
The future's in sight
It's time to fight
For the best of me
The best I can be
Is yet to come
It might be doubted by some
But now is the time
The planets are aligned
So watch this space
As I find my place
In this wonderful world
I'm just a girl
But it's time to break free
Time for the real me

Send down lightning,
With buckets of rain,
Unleash a howling wind,
Across the prairie,

Defiant eye looks down,
Unscrupulous tyrant,
I shake a fist at you,
From my parched field,

Leary of the prankster,
Don’t flood me like Johnstown,
I just want water,
On my corn and potatoes,

I cannot stand here much longer,
With the beetles and cicadas,
I’ll crumble and die,
Left for them to devour,

Tomatoes long since wilted,
Tsunami couldn’t bring them back,
We’ve eaten what would grow,
Nothing left to can,

This winter, we’ll eat Purina,
Leaving to big dog to hunt,
I cannot find the words,
For my vengeful prayer,

“Honey! Look Out!”
I was asleep at the wheel,
I had the strangest dream,
We were poor farmers eating dogfood…

I was told by a Canadian who was a child living in a fishing village at the time of the second world war. She told me that German U boats would dock at villages along the Hudson and you would often see the crew walking around the village or staying on shore leave. She said the villagers did not object and it was all quite friendly. I am surprised that they were able to get so close to America.

Everyone seems to be forgetting the piece that was destroyed when his Killing Curse rebounded in Godric's Hollow.

1)Slytherin Locket
2)Hufflepuff Cup
3)Ravenclaw Diadem
4)Nagini
5)Diary
6)Ring
7)Harry Potter
8)Voldemort (After Godric's Hallow)

So didn't Voldemort think he made 8 horcruxes and not 7 like it states in the book

Writers:

How do you make your writing spell-binding, make it flow in a way so that your reader can't put it down, and just has to find out what's going to happen in the end?

Also, who are some examples of writers (I know J.K Rowling is one) that write in spell-binding ways?

As anyone who has been to my 360 site knows, I am a prolific writer; some of it it very good, actually.
My question is: How does one go about getting published? I know not to send anything unsolicited, and it's kind of difficult for me being in Iraq right now, since I can't just pick up a phone and call someone, but I know you need an agent. So how do you know which are the good ones and which are the scammers?

In promotion of ACTUAL knowledge of established poetic tradition to counterbalance the overabundance of questions from would-be poets seeking needy validation for their personal poems, I'll give best answer status to the person who FIRST answers all 5 questions below SATISFACTORILY.

I already know the answer to the first four, so it's #5 that's make or break as your subjective response. Make it cogent and articulate!

1) What are the three basic types or modes of poetry? Provide names and definitions.

2) Name one Elizabethan poet, one romantic poet, and one modernist poet.

3) What is "prosody?"

4) Who is the current poet laureate for the US?

5) How is poetry relevant to you in a 21st century society?
