Hi, Moon :) I wish you much in yours! So many things make me joyous, but to answer about a "constant," I'd have to say my feline room mate. She fills my heart with joy every single day in a myriad of ways. Hers is the only truly unconditional love I've ever known. My sister, my friends, nature--I love them all, but they are capricious. They don't ALWAYS bring me joy. This beautiful little loving spirit does.

The blessing that I am able to wake up in the morning, wrap my arms around a wonderful man and enjoy a cup of coffee with my husband, kiss my children before going to work, arrive at work safely, have a great day with my patients, get home safely after work, make dinner and laugh together as a family, watch a little TV, ride my bike and go back to bed with the man I love.
That ALL fills my heart with JOY!!
You have a wonderful day also!
Sandy :O)

I see you asked this in three categories: polls & surveys, religion & spirituality, and here. Since I was a philosophy major in college, I'll answer here.
What most reliably fills me with joy is hearing from and visiting with my closest friends. I have only a few, but they are very precious to me. One is 2,000 miles away, but I get a real charge every time I hear her voice on the phone.
Next is little kids, especially when they smile at me.

Simplicity! This has become arare commodity.
Over these years we have come to see everything as very complicated. For everthing there are enormous choices. Highly technical and short lived changes.
We are trying to change even a toddler who was happy playing with simple tools and toys. Now games , robots .... chinese toys with carcenogenic paints.
When I see simple living ... a labourer family living at the site of a construction , with their kids , sharing a simple meal of a bread, an abandoned place of worship with just a priest elking out a living and sharing it with even his God.... a ride on a horse carriage... many such long forgotten things are still existing in many parts of the world. Rich people of rich nations want to aquire old things and call them antiques ans value them. But what about these antique people with simple living?

Realizing the depression and despair I had with life for many years. Knowing that I learned how to cope with things better, began to change myself which changed my life. Feeling joy that I was able to overcome my own obstacles and find a happiness that I've now claimed for two years. Feeling lucky that I was able to learn how to appreciate every little thing and be positive versus seeing the world through negative perspective.

As I'm beauty lover I enjoy with spectating everything what's beautiful: pictures, landscapes, pretty girls (especially!) and so on. I try to find beauty in everything. But real joy I find in love, in children, that's true.
