In my veiws, the sense of smell is the most important. It tends to stimulate intellect, and is the most memorable. We can relive experiences just by smelling a familiar scent.

I love the scent of orange blossoms, clean hair, fresh laundry, Christmas trees, and cinnamon apple pie baking in the oven.

I will select whomever is most passionate about their answer.

...And please, don't give a thumbs-down to a decent answer, people shouldn't be put down for simply sharing an opinion.

...and that should be "views" not "veiws". Sorry for the typo.

Ooh! Nothing to beat the exquisite mouthwatering odour of freshly baked bread - reminds me of my childhood days when Mom still baked bread in the old coal burning oven! We couldn't wait for the bread to cool down enough, so that we could plaster it thickly with fresh home-made butter and green fig preserve, or whole-piece apricot jam!
My day realy starts every day with the smell of freshly ground coffee perculating in the kitchen . . . there's nothing to start the day better than that! The fragrance of poems . . .
One fragrance that will always bring back the fondest of memories, is the smell of my two children when they were babies (they're now 20 and 23) - mother's milk on the breath, baby powder, soft shampoo, and that indescribably unique smell defined as "baby smell" . . . If I had my way we wouldv'e had an entire football team of babies - just for their smell!
In nature there is a unique smell found, I suspect only in Africa: The smell of rain on a parched landscape, thirsting for the first spring raindrops. It drives the wild animals euphoric, and does something to mankind born in Africa which must be experienced to be believed!
Much more subtle, yet reminescent of deep emotional ties, is the fragrance of red roses still on the bush, at dusk. I will always remember walking hand-in-hand with a loved one amidst these signal red roses, and nestling my face in her just washed hair! Wow! That was absolutely heavenly!
Ever since I was a young lad, the smell of apples had an attraction for me, which surpasses all else. I can walk down a busy inner city street, and pass within 50 yards of a vedor selling fresh green Granny Smith apples, and I'd stop for a smell first.
Yet, if I close my eyes and recall the most unique and enticing fragrance that comes to mind, is the smell of a woman whilst you are loving her. There is no other fragrance that can make a man as weak in the knees as that unique feminine fragrance which makes men stop dead in their tracks, forget about even the most important appointment, drop a scalding mug of coffee all over his lap without feeling any pain, and turn even the most verbose fellow into a struttering fool, than the exquisite smell called :"WOMAN"!

Armani Code is the best thing I have ever smelled in my life! I know alot of girls who agree but it's costs alot. Victoria Secret Warm and Cozy body spray is my favorite, it smells a bit like warm vanilla and rasberries and it's fairy cheap. The regular VS Pink perfume also smells amazing, I get alot of compliments on those two. A good daily scent is actually that Hilary Duff perfume With Love, very nice for day to day! On a side note if you're looking to impress boys, I have heard there's studies that say vanilla is a good one with boys. Sweet and comforting!

I love the smell of vanilla. Not vanilla perfume or a vanilla candle. They just aren't the same as pure vanilla. When I think about it I probably like this scent because it reminds me of my grandma, she would always be cooking in the kitchen. The smell of vanilla is like a comforter for me.
I also love the smell of lemons, they are so clean and refreshing.
My last favorite smell would probably have to be rain. The smell of rain is better than any smell I can think of. Rain.
Oh and pine trees, if you've ever been to a forest of pine trees. Hopefully you'll never forget.

I enjoyed the scents I recalled from your memories. I love mountain rain washed summer breezes, ocean fog, wild roses and sea lavender, lilacs, recently mown grass, freshly turned black soil and the gardens just before harvest. So many scents mingle that no one is as sweet as all are together. Bed sheets on a country clothesline induce sleep in the crankiest child. A fresh baby's scent mingled with its mother's perfume induces tranquility in a father who returns from a grueling day of work to the scent of home made stew and bisquits. I could write a book but it wouldn't make "scents' only induce memories.

I love the scent of my children and hubby when I kiss them goodnight (I breathe them in), gardenia, honey suckle, jasmine, plumeria, musk (sexy), freshly baked chocolate chip cookies , vanilla (reminds me of my mom), cinnamon, pumpkin pie, clean sheets, the smell of rain, fresh cut grass, the smell of the earth, laundry dried from sunshine, English Leather cologne(reminds me of my dad), the smell of a new baby (what a miracle =) ), the smell of my son's baby blanket, my husband's pillow, the ocean and salt water, the smell of the woods, strawberries.......the list is endless. I agree with you.....Smell is SO important!!!!!!!!!!!!

When I am in the grocery store I smell deoderant, shampoo, laundry detergent, candles, air fresheners, EVERYthing before I buy it. And I don't care how "great" of a product it is.....if it doesn't smell good, it's not going in my basket......... =)

Sandalwood, Jasmine, Vanilla, the way it smells after it snows, the way the air smells before it rains.

The smell of newborn hair...I can't really explain that one but an infants hair naturally has this wonderful sweet smell.
