This is not a philosophical question, but a serious one. I know some consider their jobs slavery, but does real slavery exist today. Are people still sold at auctions and worked hard. I know sexual slavery exists in parts of the world, but does it go beyond that.

Idk whether 2 go 2 college for acting or meteorology. Acting looks like is would be great. u kno- have a family-like cast, getting to act like someone u are not, being in the spot light. To me, that's living large. It's living the dream. I am so outgoing and have had numerous people tell me that I belong in Hollywood. But I'm scared that I will be a struggling actress. Right now, I barely know any of the terms that actoresses use..ex. screen testing. Idk if i want to go to college and then fail at being an actress and waste ALL that money when I could have been successful in meteorology. Meteorology would be cool. But I get excited, anxious, hyped-up, and EXTREMELY nervous when i think about acting. I don't want to settle for sumething. w/ going w/ acting, i wouldnt be settling. I have 1 life. People say to live the dream. acting seems to be my dream. What if acting doesnt work out, then i will be 1000s of $ in debt because of college & not be able to go to meteorology. wat should i do

Darkness..

My thoughts are locked in my head,
No body cares about my worries,
So I keep them shut in inside,
They slowly eat away at me,
Putting pressure on my mind.

I lie in the darkness,
Alone and afraid,
I lie in the darkness,
No way to escape.

I live in the corner of the room,
Hiding. Disappearing into the shadows,
Away from all the people of the world,
The ones that hurt me,
That make me cry myself to sleep.

Everyone looks, everyone judges,
They see the scars and turn away,

I know Prescott Bush sat on the Board of Directors of a company that was involved in Nazi dealings and the company even had his assets frozen and his property seized under The Trading With The Enemy Act, but it wasn't just his company. There had to have been other companies right?

Okay, my old plan was...

o1.To get a job so that i could get a new voice teacher (because mine always cancels)


o2.After i was done with voice i would start taking acting lessons, and maybe some kind of comedy lessons too.

o3.Get an agent and join some plays.

o4.Try out for some movies or tv shows.

And i'm not just some stupid kid who is like "i wanna be a movie star" i mean i will work really hard for this... the only problem is i need to find a job :(

But IF i find one then i'm in!

Any ideas?

Edmund Morris has written "The Rise of Theodore Roosevelt" covering Teddy's life up to when he first becomes President and "Theodore Rex" which details Teddy's time as President.

I was under the impression that Mr. Morris was going to write a final book which would finish Teddy's life.
