I'm from Houston, living in NYC. There are no websites for that. Produce your own play. You can buy books on "How to Produce a Play", at any large bookstore in Houston, such as Bookstop. Does TSU have a Theater Department? If so, approach them. After you are satisfied with your re-writers, you can think about having a reading of the play, after you have made notes of what you want to change in the script, you can think about doing a workshop of the play, so you can see how it unfolds, before you are ready to mount it for a full production. That's what I did with my 9/11, play I produced in NYC. At which theater will you produce the play? If you are serious about playwrighting, I suggest you enroll in the playwriting class of Playwright, Edward Albee, he teaches every-other semester at UofH. He's a GREAT guy. He directed me in a play at UofH and coincidentally, we lived in the same apartment building in Houston. you can e-mail me at: , if you have comments or questions.
