We're headed to Florida this Friday on an 11-hour drive, and my husband and I would like to listen to some audio books. We'll have our 4-year-old daughter with us, though, and want something we'll enjoy, but without the language, etc. in case she's listening in. Don't audio books have ratings just like movies? They should.

According to family history, my maternal grandmother's father was one of 2 brothers who survived a shipwreck and washed ashore to the beach of a village called Kuala Penyu in Sabah, East Malaysia.They stayed on and married the locals. My grandmother's father was called Laksamana and they say he was a pirate. This happened about or more than 100 years ago. Can anyone shed light on what exactly he was? Rather dubious. In the Malay archipelago, Laksamana is an admiral. What does Laksamana means in the Phillipines? Or is it just a name? Thanks

So I am an adult who loves Harry Potter, but would it look stupid if I wore a Harry Potter t-shirt?

It doesn't have Harry's face or anything on it. It is a black t-shirt that says "I solemnly swear that I am up to no good" on the front and "Mischief managed" on the back. If you haven't read the books, it probably doesn't make sense.

Am I too old?

I have this feeling that emotion is somehow are much more powerful, individual experiance in which there should be more acceptanting of. The intellect is great, but if it was geared towards emotional and spiritual development, then would it not be better than say.......learning to drive? My dream is to act on the small screen or the big screen my dad takes me to the movies every week so I can get the gist of how they act in the big times. I stole the show in our last years Christmas play, and for two weeks after all I heard from the teachers was "Oh Samantha, you were so great in the Christmas play"
