No, I don't like your "poem". First of all, it isn't a "poem", it's an epitath, and not a clever one either. "A good epitaph is considered to be one that is memorable, or at least makes one think. A wry trick of many successful epitaphs is to 'speak' to the reader and warn them about their own mortality; another is a request of the reader to get off their resting place, as often it would require the reader to stand on the ground above the coffin to read the inscription." (wikpedia)

If you want a clever tombstone, and want others to remember it, then make your life worth remembering...not your death. Nobody remembers the death of a suicide unless they're suicidal themselves.

Try this one: "Born to live, had to be dragged kicking and screaming into the box at the end...needed 6 feet of dirt to keep me down... better step back, not sure it was enough"

Nobody cares about the dead, it's the living they're concerned about...try staying in that club...death will catch you soon enough, you don't need to go there until you have to...it's the one unavoidable appointment we'll all keep, so see how many days you can avoid him.

good luck with that.

Sweety if suicide is your only way out then you need to find a way to stay in. Problems come and go and suicide I believe is so selfish. We all have people in our life that we don't get along with or have hurt us very deeply but they still care about us. And to take our own life will leave an emotional impact on the ones we leave behind.
I have been there and I made it through. I started thinking about my four children that I would be leaving behind and how it would leave a really bad impact on their lives.
I use my poetry to vent my feelings and it really helps me and keeps me from doing something that I can not undo. And suicide is so final. I could not leave that burden on my family and friends even though sometimes it seems that they could care less. I just sometimes just want to give up. But I realized that it would be very selfish of me to do that.
I hope you can find something worth living for. Maybe you can find something that you really enjoy doing and throw all your energy into it. Help others in some way it can also be very rewarding emotionally. Good luck and God bless.

I don;t think that;s a good idea at all. Live your life and enjoy as were on here for a short time is much better,Stay awhile and visit is better also as suicide is not any kind of answer; no matter what;s the problem.....lol

You were born to live
Now you can't die
Don't give up
One more try

You can't end now
It's not right
Take another look
and end this fight

With yourself
or others, too
Some person could be
waiting for you

here on earth
do not die now
they will wonder
"but how"

did you do this
more likely why
its not the time
to say goodbye

I like it, except for the suicide part - in the poem and life!

Why even have a gravestone. Those are usually meant to be memorials for those left behind. If your message was accurate I doubt anyone would care to visit it, or think about you fondly. You might as well get cremated and throw your ashes in a dumpster.

It seems very trite. If you're serious talk to someone--get help. If you're not serious than it really isn't very funny or clever.

Call a doctor
Get some help
Taking the easy way out
Is for Losers
And those who are weak
Stand up for yourself
And get some help

Sorry, doesn't rhyme, it's not catchy, but it's TRUE

There are some really excellent gravestone epitaphs.
See this url: http://www.famousquotes.me.uk/epitaphs/

I doubt that for whatever reason you might consider suicide that this is what you want to be remembered for.

Rethink the suicide and if you still want to do it, at least rethink the epitaph.

Sounds like you just need some attention. Maybe in a cute, funny way or a morbid, sick way but either way is a cry for help.
