I think you can make a (definitely <---- not a real word??) connection between the scientific view of what happens to us, and a religious view of what happens to us, as science says... we are made of energy and energy never stops, and as a religous point of view we die and join the presence of GOD in Heaven... which in my scientific point of view would be (GOD) = energy that makes up everything, (Heaven) to continue on forever as this energy... nothing really to stop or hurt us. Therefore we never die, we just join back into what we came from.... wow, i confused myself there...

I want to continue playing music in college, but I'm afraid I might not be good enough to be a part of a college group. For example, I have pretty good intonation when I play, but I have a lot of trouble tuning my instrument. Is it worth it to continue?

You came into my life
I thought that you were the light
But I wasn't right
Coz i thought you were bright

You said "I love you"
But that wasn't true
I did everything you told me to

I gave you my heart
I gave you my soul
But you gave me your only joke
And you made out with Joe next door ☺

I know the last line sound weird but i cant think of anything and im still working on adding some more stuffs, and im asking for your help on what should i change or add and if you think its good or bad..

thanks..

Hey, I got something for you,
Will you accept my gift?
I made it just for you,
Want to see what it is?
I didn't have much time to wrap it,
Or adorn it with a bow.
It's not in a gift bag,
It was in the window;
Of this little shop,
On that little street.
The little tag on it,
Said it couldn't be beat.
Yeah, I know what you're thinking,
You think I got scammed.
You think I got boosted,
By some clever salesmaaaaannn?
Well Listen! Close your eyes,
Hold out your hands.
This is something you need,
You've had it on demand.
Every time you cried,
Every time you hurt.
Every time you felt,
Like no one knew your worth.
For all the times you laughed,
And, oh yeah, all the times you smiled.
This ought to hold you for a long while.

My gift is HOPE!

I am hoping you can help me. I am trying to find out the current info and thoughts as to whether an oil painting needs to breathe to preserve it's life and quality? I was told to glue and nail a piece of plywood to the back of a torquing/twisted canvas frame on oil, and one framer said that was bad since it would prevent the oil from breathing, while another said the current discovery is actually that an oil painting should not be exposed to the air. Can you help direct me to info on this? Was there an article in your publication about this?

They say 'look to the future'
But then, what do i do
If when I try to look forward

After reading John Gray's 'Straw dogs' I felt deflated.

Just as there are musical frequencies we find more pleasing than others, are there likewise certain color wavelengths that our brains are programmed to appreciate while others we find less pure, beautiful or aesthetically satisfying? If so, do these colors appear in nature more often and could this explain why we find them satisfying?

The foolish ponder on a life of new.
the simple hope for what the wise know is hopeless.
All that lays in the past is the rubble of crushed hopes and what ifs.
The regret of past mistakes leads to new ones.
talk of a new is foolish, for In life their are somethings that cannot be redone.

Is simplicity the ultimate sophistication? No one would buy a simple cell phone compared to a complex cell phone. No one wants to wear the same style clothes as the other person and no one has the discipline to keep life simple. Does this mean they are not sophisticated?
Also, isn't a sophisticated person someone who studies complex and abstract ideas. What are your opinions?

I'm 18 atm, and I like many books. This is a list of the books I have read and liked, keep in mind, that some of these are for younger people, but I still like them, even today. Sorry, don't know all the authors

The Seventh Tower series
Left Behind series
All Quiet on the Western Front (though I don't really like the genre...)
Deltora Quest series, at least the orignals
Mists of Avalon
Wrinkle in Time series

I haven't read a whole variety of books, but If you have any suggestions... not Harry Potter, I didn't like reading a hundred pages and nothing happening; Not Star Wars; And not Lord Of The Rings...
