It is called Ghost of you. It is all in the narraters point of veiw about a guy.

You've came this far.
Your ready to face your fears.
But you chose to run away.
You dont want to get hurt.
You dont want to be scared.
You turn around and walk.
Just walk.
Thought no one would notice.
But I noticed.
I saw the look on your face.
The fear in your eyes.
You started running as fast as you could.
But something came over you.
You coudnt move.
I knew what was happening.
I knew why you couldnt move any more.
You were scared.
Scared of running, scared of what may happen, scared of living in fear.
As you stoped a tear ran down your face.
I wanted to wipe it away.
But I couldnt
I couldnt because you ran away from me.
But not only me, but love.
You ran away in fear of ever loving someone,
I kew you were in pain as you stood there.
But what could I do.
I am of her.
The one you ran away from.
I am not only the ghost of her.
But I am the ghost of you

I am new to painting, and temperas specifically, but a couple of my paints are too watery straight out of the bottle. How can I go about thickening these (and ideally without a great investment of time beforehand)?

So far, I've tried flour, Boraxo, Palmolive, egg white and salt. Elsewhere on the Internet, I've seen recommended liquid starch or tempera powder, though I haven't tried these yet. The latter makes the most sense, but some of the colors I have in ready-to-use form aren't readily available as a powder (e.g., neon/light green vs. standard/dark green).

Cheers!

Hi. I just recently started painting and decided to go with temperas. I found mine at Hobby Lobby and they are manufactured by Rich Art. The label states the paints are "brilliant, opaque, non-toxic WATER COLOR."

I have two free-roaming cats and no space in which to create a separate room for my painting. The cats don't seem interested in my paints to the point of even sniffing, but I'd like to know, with the exception of their directly consuming the temperas (as I never leave the paints unattended), if these can generally be considered "pet safe" paints? If not, what other paints might be deemed as such?

The principle ingredients are listed as: Water, calcium carbonate, clay, starch, attapulgite, non-toxic pigments.

Thanks in advance for any answers or leads.

Cheers!

There are many who think that happiness is derived from having wealth and materials. There are some who think that having good health matters more than anything else. But I would think that by giving and forgiving to others are most importance with unconditional love. Wealth and materials can be taken away easily. Good health can go too if ones neglected it. But giving and forgiving are from deep within the heart which are easily said but not many can easily practise. Which categories are you in ?

Stand Up

What's wrong with the kids today?
That's what us old farts always say
But, really, where is YOUR energy?
Why are you so disconnected
So content in your apathy?

"When I was your age..." we old hippies complain
We were storming the campus
"We Won't Get Fooled Again"
We were burning our draft cards
Or marching or shouting
Now see us old farts
Just rocking and pouting

Because the world became what we once feared
But now we're too tired, or just plain ol' skeered
Of losing our pensions
We sold out to "the man"
And became The Establishment
And in our middle-years
We have grown wan

What's wrong with you kids today?
Don't you just know??
To be quiet now
Won't help America grow
