Wow that's deep stuff. I'm not sure what it is you actually mean. Is it some kind of Yin and Yang type question. All I can gather from this question is that male and female go together compatibly and you can't have one without the other because if male is one thing seeking the opposite and female is that opposite and they are seeking what the male is, then ultimately is must be interpreted as being the male or the seed. You kind of answered the question yourself when you said that male is is.

There may be something of interest for yourself and for the readers of this question.

What a wonderful question..... I doubt if the answerers here have given enough credence and attention to this!

In my view it implies the most inviolable underlying principle governing this huge yet orderly Universe.

The key point here is that we seek what we do not have...... and in the same way, we also seek what we are not, meaning the opposite..... this is what brings into being the proverbial saying that opposites attract each other. I totally agree with your statements and would like to add another angle to it as mentioned above...... perhaps opposites attract each other in order to bring about a balance.... after all, dynamic balance is the central principle of this entire Universe, which is why there is such an inseparable and inviolable correlation between cause and effect, the effect being the balancing act for the imbalance created by the cause. In this grand context, it is indeed quite an understatement to say that man complements woman and vice versa..... even our metaphysical minds are seeking balance all the time, being governed by the universal principle of dynamic balance.

since male is is, and seeking is not, then male is not seeking. Female is is-not, the opposite of male therefore seeking. I'm seeking a good shrink in the yellow pages as I type this!

Contraries occur in nature, though they do not necessarily contradict each other. They are each others compliment.

Fools may see this as a way to condone the evil they commit. The wise know this as a way to understand the goods.

Based on the very notion of this question, it leaves me with a sense of you on your third day of a binge drink, truthfully.
