Is it letting go of the things that you believe bring you comfort but in reality control you and hold you back? Like the way alcohol controls an alcoholic. Being able to stay true to yourself and your goals even though the pressure to quit is great?

I deleted my post earlier because I felt that the photos weren’t portrayed the way they should be, anyway I was wondering is the first photo better or worse than the second photo. and if If this person can use the second photo in a modeling portfolio?, I know which 1 is my fav. But I want to fan it out and see what the people think, in the second, I only changed the background, smoothed the skin and put a water mark on there, as apposed to the other one which I had done a lot of work(including face alterations & a lesson well learned on fixing photos to much) and still got nothing really out of it, so let me know what you think and tell me how to improve my photography ability…..

Could someone please clarify for me what the job of a beachmaster was on the beaches at Normandy during the D-Day Invasion?

I have a pretty firm grasp on what other people were doing, be it piloting the landing crafts or using Bangalore mines to blow sections of wire or hauling around the flamethrowers, but I cannot seem to find a description of a beachmaster's duties.

They are referred to frequently in the book I am currently reading, and in other books I have read about the invasion, but I cannot find information on exactly what they were doing that day.

Any explanation or clarification you can give me will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for your consideration of my question.

(Just so you know, this is not homework or related to any kind of assignment. It is an effort to expand my understanding of what I am currently reading.)

Simple enough question that nobody can answer. Remember that God is no answer as you would still be left with the same question of whether he appeared out of nowhere or whether he always existed. Either way something freaking crazy happened!

I am reading the book "Chasing the Devil" by Sheriff David Reichert, 2004. I looked it up in Amazon.com and found it got some not-so-good reviews. However, there is another "Chasing the devil" by the same author, published in 2005, got all 5 star reviews. Are these two book different?

Somebody just asked:
Shouldn't God be questioned??

My Q is:
Shouldn't God be married?? ... else, how can He understand the associated traumas and challenges, and still Judge 'Man' with a clear conscience at the last Day??

(APB)=All Powerful-Being (P) Premesis (C) Conclusion
The properties that define "existence" apply to one thing as they do to all things. It is illogical to say that I exist and God exist yet the properties that define my existence do not apply to God existence. If God is an All powerful Being then by defintion off (APB) God cannot exist!
P1.Property of Existence- Everything that Exists is dependent upon relative realms of scope and possibility to exist.
P2. Humans exist yet require Oxygen, Earth, Water to exist or to have existed. Trees exist yet require soil, fertilization of roots by water, and photosynthesis to exist.
P3. Nothing that exists is Independent of relative realms of Scope and possibility.
P4. An (APB) would not require relative realms of scope and possibility to Be. An (APB) would be independent of relative realms of scope and possibility.
C- Hence, If God is an APB then God cannot exist.
Solution to problem-If God is an APB then God is beyond existence,God "Is"?

I have to describe injuries. I have face cut by shattered glass, and face burned by the gases in the air bag. Any ideas? Could someone's legs get smashed somehow? How would the ones you explained happen?
