I just got my pictures back from my vacation and i was really excited, until i saw the quality of the pictures...i haven't used a disposable camera in a few years and was wondering if pictures like this are normal....on one camera i only got 18 of 27 exposures and i think only 13 of them are decent quality. the other camera was not much better. does this look like bad picture taking, or a mistake on the photo departments part? person behind the counter said it was just bad picture taking..but in two pics there are black areas on the far right of the picture (pretty hard to get when you are on a beach)

I'm learning piano and memorizing notes for me is the biggest challenge. I already know the notes it just takes me a while to get them. Im already familiar with the acronyms that help you memorize them but when I play it needs to be a bit faster so it gets a bit harder. What will help me to memorize them?

I am trying to take a picture and have it printed on a pillow case. Not something that will wear off, but will last when I wash it. Can be somewhere online or I can take it there.

I go to a LOT of theater -- musical Broadway type shows mostly. I am often ASTOUNDED by the talent -- voices as good as you can hear on Broadway or on records. Sometimes even better! The acting and dancing is just as good! I saw 'Rent' in a big city, not Broadway, and I was utterly BLOWN AWAY by the talent.

So I'm wondering, do these people all WANT to be super famous, like Julie Andrews for example, or are at least SOME of them content to just be acting in a show?

I'm just hoping that these people who give their ALL for us in the audience are basically happy in their professions!

One last thing -- is there a web site or something where I can express to these people my gratitude for the many hours of pleasure they have given me?

Prejudice knows our fickle nature like an oracle
Mounts and rides on our colour and tongues like a bicycle
It seems a futile wish
To cast aside this segregating cold dish

We walk in racial circles or in colour squares
Never together though no one really cares
Why do we play this game of ethnic cards?
That holds us hostage like armed guards?

We passed each other every single day
But never found the right words to say
What our eyes speak as our paths cross
Every discrimination and hurt yet another albatross

Finished it this morning. There is certainly a lot of information in there, especially towards the end. Do you think the movie will include it all and keep the story flowing smoothly? It's bound to be a long movie.

I also hope they keep in all the magical creatures that were in this book, especially the thestrals. They intrigued me. I was hoping that more would have happened to Umbridge in the way of the students being able to see her humbled before the centaurs hauled her away. Good riddance to bad rubbish as they say. I cannot believe how blatantly mean and nasty she was. Sure and I would love to bring those Slytherin kids down a knotch or two also.

Starting the Half Blood Prince now. Good?

The thought first came to mind in another post of mine yesterday, and I wouldn't mind your constructive feedback and plot suggestions. I don't mind if you're wacko; I eat Wacko Corn Flakes for breakfast--it's very popular in County Wicklow. I'm thinking that my new play will center on a black Jewish lesbian who is a homeless mother in the USA, perhaps in backward Georgia, who is, in fact, God. She has come to Earth mad as the dickens because of the way Christians over the centuries have treated Jews, people of African descent, the poor, the homeless, and gay men and women. She carries in her tote bag the key to Hell. And in Act One, Scene One, she transports every televangelist in North America to a place so brutally hot and fiery and painful that those con men are sorry their mama ever had them. What do you think of my storyline so far? It isn't a comedy.

It has come to my attention that certain people on this site believe my interaction with Kayde to be something other than plutonic. Sorry to disappoint you all, but my taste runs only for my wife. I've been married 26 years and I find it truly sad that just because I try to help someone with their writing I would be villified like this. I have been totally honest about my abuse and would never put anyone else through that. to all of you who believe this...shame on you. Don't project your own sick fantasies onto me

Mine

You can try to take my mind,
even attempt to steal me blind,
but one thing you will never get,
Is something I call self respect.

I've been through hell and made it back,
I'll make it through these vile attacks,
maybe for all who choose to believe,
I'll just pack up and take my leave.

I never asked for any sympathy,
maybe just a little empathy.
I guess I asked for too much indeed,
my heart, your hand, .I too bleed.

I would never hurt a child

Visit www. jkrowling.com and click on the eraser that you see on Jo's messy desk. It's a portkey to the Room of Requirement, and you've got to figure out how to open the door to pick up your test booklet. Hint: If you're new to solving Jo's puzzles, visit Internet fan sites; you'll find tips. But don't cheat on the exam -- you'll get your score in due time.

HOW DO I DO THAT?
