The Sea
By Natividad Marquez

Why does the Sea laugh, Mother
As it glints beneath the sun?

Is it thinking of the joy, my child
That it wishes every one.

Why does the sea sob so, mother
As it breaks on the rocky shore?

It recalls the sorrows of the world,
And weeps forever more.

Why is the see so peaceful, Mother
As if it were fast asleep?

It would give our heart, derest child
The comfort of the deep

The End.

And of the things that come of destruction, who's to say they are not more appreciable from an objective point of view (as objective as our subjective experience can be) than the initial creation?

Living in a multi-cultural information age society, where the various religions origins and essential differences can be studied, it becomes clear that GOD, as understood by believers, vary enormously in character, form and nature.

Even in one religion, such as Christianity, the nature of GOD and his/ her/it's (he/his from here on) participation or intervention or interaction with his creation varies form the vengeful and smiting interventionist GOD of the Old Testament, to the compassionate and forgiving loving God, absent since departure, of the new.

Many educated people realise that their contextual based conditioning from youth regarding their views concerning truth are but another perspective. Thus they search for the immutable aspects amongst the multitude of visions trying to find a firm basis from which to rebuild an understanding of the world which transcends culturally biased paradigms in order get closer to the truth about reality.

For such a person GOD seems to exist as a conjecture. So how can I know the face of the GOD and if there be one at all?

Their are two sides to Lincoln. On the day of the Gettysburg address he signed a paper committing 10 Indian chiefs to death for pleading for their promised blankets and food. General Grant took their supplies for his troops and their people ( the Indians) were starving to death.

Since emptiness is the "canvas" on which we, and everything, are all painted and without emptiness there would be no structure or order, is God emptiness; the lack of all "becoming"?

Comment on the following argrument, note arguements of this nature are usually dubbed "Argument from Evil."

P1. If God were to exist, then that being would be all powerful, all-knowing, and all good (All PKG for short)
P2.If an all-PKG being existed, then there would be no evil.
P3. There is evil.
Conclusion. Hence, there is no God.

Note* This argument is deductively valid, so to disprove this arguement u must disprove one or more of the preceeding premises.
Note*Citing Biblical passages as a negation to this arguement is a logical Fallacy termed Circularity..that is if I did not beleive in biblical passages then citing such is to assume I believe in Biblical passages.
