can we all just be figments of another beings imagination or are we just living some where else but dream of this world?

you mean like the matrix in that sort of thinking. that what we see is an illusion that what we think we see isnt really how life exists in its purest, truest form. i have thought of that too be it all comes down to thats one hell of an illusion. too hard to mimic. what if the world as we knew it was not what it seemed to be just an ongoing movie pulled over our eyes to deter us from ultra reality that seems there and inevitable but unreachable...? sounds like a good book but unfortunately for us, whether we are unable to unveil this shroud of secrecy that deludes us or we in fact live in this world in this dimension and form, it doesnt really matter for we are where we are and nothing seems to be changing that.

No we are not figments of others imagination..they are figments of our imagination..the only ones who are real are the ones you can touch and prove to yourself that physically they exist.. those that you see but cannot touch are not really there.. they are only present in your imagination.. you just think you see people.. Proof of that is this..none of them are with you right now.. they did not follow you home. Since they are nowhere to be seen..you can only imagine that they exist else where.. you don't know for sure that your neighbors are in their home... unless you can see them and touch them, then they do not exist..they are a figment of your imagination...

if we were part of someone elses dream they would have to be dreaming about every single persons life in the world.... and they must have been sleeping for thousands of years...? sorry but this is a dumb question.

I THOUGHT ABOUT THAT TOO I OFTEN DAYDREAM TO MY OWN WORLD(which i haven't visited in a while in complete blankness)Don't worry your not the only one your not crazy it's okay! it happens to some of us dift into your own world its great!! some times i wish life were like kingdom hearts and final fantasy sometimes. what you feel reminds me or The Matrix.I used to think someone is reading a book of everything that happens til the end of my life and also the end of the story.

sometimes I ask myself this same question. b/c sometimes I believe that some things that happen to me are too good to be true. yet sometimes I also have feelings that I wish I were dreaming when bad things come along. but we all know that will never happen

you know, I used to think that conscious state was really a dream to some other life that we don't remember when we're "dreaming". but I also used to be scared of the dark, so.
