Or a three year old pre-schooler playing with paint?

Or perhaps by an established artist who was playing around with some new (and old) paint blending and shape manipulating technics?

Busting A Myth:

I've heard it said many times that abstract artists paint abstracts because they have no real talent or because they can't do realism. While it is that a few can't handle realism the truth is most serious artists (including the famous ones) start out doing life drawings, then move on to representational realism paintings. When they find this too restrictive they start abstracting realism. You say you can do what Jackson Pollock did? No you can't. Only Pollock could do what Pollock did. And it wasn't splatter painting.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not opposed to science. I think it is essential and very useful. I just don't believe it is the ultimate truth and I find it alarming how devoted some people are to it's teachings.

*Fact is truth
*Interpretation of fact is science
*Belief in the findings, interpretations, and conclusions of scientists is faith.
*Deriving ones purpose and patterning ones life after such faith is religion.

If science is the ultimate truth perhaps a better name for it would be religion.

My x girlfriend took a huge framed painting of my family on canvas I have, and she tore the canvas into 4 big pieces- Can a torn canvas be repaired? How much does something like that usually cost? If it can't be fixed i might have to throw it away..

Why NOT just play it safe and avoid life as much as possible? I've always been a person who, when I've wanted something but it involved what I considered to be a lot of effort, I always said "nevermind, I'll do without". Which is why I'm almost 34 never had a gf and a virgin. It's also why I have a huge gut, have a job that pays $13/hr because it doesn't require much effort on my part.

And why do women not want a guy like me with no life experience? It just means I'm innocent, which can't be a bad thing. And since the relationship I want is just sitting around cuddling and saying I love you and calling each other pet names, what does it matter what kind of life experience I've had?

Most people my age have had all these "adventures" and have all kinds of "cool" sounding stories to tell. But I bet many of those times were not so fun while they were going through them at the time. I'd rather experience nothing at all than experience anything uncomfortable or unpleasant.

I mean, sure I love his advice, and I like him to take a look at my stuff. So what? What's the big deal? It would be cool if I knew him in real life, but I don't... and you, (BILL), need to get over it.

ok?

Who am I
What's my alibi
Why am I here
Who are you to care
When does it matter that I'm alive
Why, oh why can't I just die
What difference will it make
When it's my own life to take
Why would you greive over me
When no one else can let me be
When will this pain ever stop
Oh, check it out I have one more shot!

I'm wondering which countries the slaves that were sent to South Carolina came from. I'm trying to look up my family history but because slaves weren't considered citizens they didn't really keep good records of them.

It's a no-brainer that they came from West Africa but I'm trying to figure out which specific countries they were from.
