If you really want to save a few bucks, you're going to have to do a little work. Chances are pretty good that you've probably got a stack of magazines in a closet somewhere. Go through the magazines and look at the shots, and cut out the ones that really draw your attention. Instant posing guide, and you haven't spent anything beyond what you already have.

Google Zeltsman photography. He has a fine tutorial about classic posing for single subjects, couples and groups. His website has dated photos (actually pretty funny in a way, a blast from the past) but good lighting and posing hasn't changed from 30 years ago. Learn the basics, then modify from there.
