In reading about The Mexican War, Lee was all too aware of the cost of a frontal assault. What exactly are the reasons why he thought it would work? And is it possible it may have worked if the pre-assault bombardment didn't overshoot?(And did it overshoot?) One gentleman has told me recently,that it is now thought Lee may have had a minor heart attack before heading up North...any possibilities? Thankyou.

Most know me by the name "adreamer2"... I have gone by this name for about 18 years, because i interpret dreams. But, because i am above no one, I am adreamer too.... and thus the name.

yet, i could not attain the name here, so, i go by my name.

On a emotional/intellectual level?

I find that I do not have many people in my life that are on my wavelength. I talk to a lot of people everyday, but I cannot seem to find deep, philosophical thinkers.

I see that majority of people are superficial and selfish with lack of compassion and humilty.

Then I think and say to myself - Maybe I take life too serious. At the end of the day I am a very deep thinking/feeling person and that will never change.

My teacher is going to read our essays as if she is a Holocaust denier (which she really isn't, but she's going to be reading as if she is), and our class is supposed to write about the Holocaust, trying to proove it did happen. I'm thinking of including some survivor quotes, quotes from Hitler, information about Dr. Josef Mengele (the concentration camp doctor), etc. I can't find any holocaust survivor quotes. Can anybody help me find information that shows solid proof the holocaust actually occured? Straight to the point facts, quotes, or anything would help! Thanks a lottt.

Call me strange but I can't understand the obsession with mixed children. They are just children like all other children.
I don't know who got the idea going that they are better looking than 'non-mixed' children. Personally I know mixed people ( children and adults) who are ugly as hell!

Don't people realize there are far more important things to consider when having children than whether the child will be mixed or not?
Come one people... Don't you realize you should be far more concerned with whether or not you may be passing on a STD or a GD (genetic disease) to the child than what the child's ethnicity would be?
How many people here would actually get completely screened for an STD before having a child?

How many of you would require the same of your partner?
How about having genetic screening done? Would you? Would you demand it of your partner?

Diseases are life-long battles yet they seem to be at the back of peoples mind when they talk about children.

Prove me wrong!
