Styrofoam - styrene with bubbles in it. Roughly the same material as beadboard but made differently. Normally, you have to get blocks of foam from a company that buys it in bulk - like fiberglass boat builders who use it for shape and floatation and spa makers that use it for shape (like seats) and insulation or directly from a company that has equipment to mix the chemicals, foam it, and mold it. If you need modest amounts you can glue up blocks from the spacers used in furniture packing using yellow wood glue.

Some really good bands are Family Force 5, Eleventyseven, Anberlin, Hello Goodbye, Boys Like Girls, The Killers, Panic! at the Disco, Motion City Soundtrack, and Finger Eleven. My personal favorites of those are Family Force 5 and Anberlin. Family Force 5 has an awesome techno/rock/powerpop sound and Anberlin is more pop/rock with a hint of techno. All of these are extremely awesome bands and I hope you enjoy!
