Most know me by the name "adreamer2"... I have gone by this name for about 18 years, because i interpret dreams. But, because i am above no one, I am adreamer too.... and thus the name.

yet, i could not attain the name here, so, i go by my name.

But, why do you call yourself by that name that you call yourself....??

I started out as Randy Waterhouse, (who is a fictional character in a book), the character is a geek like me...
I have since changed it to Joe K, (as in Joe King... joking... JoKe), which plays on my intelect, and homour. I figure if you can't laugh about stuff, there is something wrong with you, but I am also a seeker of knowledge, and intelect. Sometimes my answers are completely off the wall, while other times they are serious, then there are times when it is a mix between the two. CyberNara

well the current name i'm on here is a relatively new one and i had to come up with it and make it different than the last one i had to disguise myself from my old one (hiding from stalkers...boyfriends ex)

i love koi fish, i always have. I remember going to Chinatown and seeing them swimming around the ponds. Good memories. I also remember my Tia Amelia's koi fish pond in her home in El Paso Texas and feeding them as a little girl many summers ago.

Then I guess it also has something to do with me being a pisces. Eventually I stumbled upon the symbolism of the koi: "...represents courage. Humans "swim" through "the ocean of suffering" just like a fish swims through water. According to Japanese legend, if a koi succeeds in climbing the falls at a point called Dragon Gate on the Yellow River it would be transformed into a Dragon. Because of that legend, Japanese associate the koi with perservance in adversity and strength of purpose because of its strength and determination to overcome obstacles."

I guess I feel much like this. I've had to overcome many obstacles in my life and I continue to do so, some big some small. So that is why I am koi fish girl.

Pedestal42...

No-one's ever questioned mine.
It's an historical allusion.
I picked it while having a "people don't remember" moment, possibly while looking at a few Q&A in the History section, before actually joining in.

(Edit: Operation Pedestal in August 1942 was the final effort to supply Malta before she was forced to surrender. Nine of the fourteen merchant ships in the convoy were sunk. URL:)
