Life and death are merely conceptual. This manifest consciousness (life) itself can be looked upon as maya or illusion. You the absolute, watch life like a play on the stage, unconcerned about the triviality of life and death. You, the eternal or real has given light to this consciousness, and are an unconcerned witness to it's functioning. You watch in a detached manner as the concept of life and death ebbs and flows. Your eternal state is not subject to the unreality of life and death. You exist in the permanent bliss, forever in the NOW.

Death, for some people and life for some.

You cannot compare the two. Nobody knows what death is like for sure. The few who think they've experienced it, only did for a few minutes. Most people who look forward to it believe in life after death. So you're comparing the known to the unknown. Kind of like apples to coffee tables if you ask me.

I would think that Life is better than Death, because when you are Dead that's it, no going back, but with Life you will be able to make your own decisions, as to how to live it.

It all depends on what you like better. If your an outgoing man, I suggest life since there are always places to go and people to see. If, however, you prefer being motionless, and never having to change your clothes or argue with those confusing philosophers, death is the life for you.

Depends on your situation, life can be a good journey for those that are in a position to enjoy it, if the trip contains heartache, misery and turmoil, the trip can't end soon enough for some. Death is believed to be the way station to that final destination that one arrives at regardless how good or bad the trip was.

Life on this planet with evil in it, isn't that great. Death is not the end, but the door to which eternity you choose in this life. To deny God and go to hell forever suffering without relief, or to believe in Him and live forever in His love. Which do you choose?

hard to say. but if you believe in life after death, we may not have as much free-will under those conditions. right now there is no divine force explicity showing itself, allowing us free-will. if there is life after death and we are then exposed to the divine, we are no longer the top dogs. there may be angels, spirits and other forces far greater than ouselves. we are king of our hill on this rock, not so once we are dead.
