Ridley Pearson is the author.See the link below for his web page, please.

He has continued to work in television and film, and occasionally has something to show for it: a documentary written for A&E on Alcoholics Anonymous was aired in 2003; The Diary Of Ellen Rimbauer, a two hour movie of the week was aired by ABC in 2004.

From Stephenking.com:

"Who really wrote The Diary of Ellen Rimbauer?

Now it can be told--the actual author of The Diary of Ellen Rimbauer is suspense novelist (and Rock Bottom Remainder bass guitarist) Ridley Pearson. Ridley did a great job--I couldn't have done better myself. Here's hoping you will continue to support Ridley's work by buying a copy of "The Art of Deception." - Stephen King"

i'm no longer a hundred% specific, as i've got in easy terms ever seen area of the action picture earlier, and not study the e book, yet i think of they are fiction. i theory I remembered reading earlier that they have been the form of fiction made to look authentic....form of like the Blair Witch project.
