I was wondering if the French typically used naming patterns when naming their children. I have an enormous amount of experience researching my Dutch ancestry and anyone who has done Dutch research knows, they were big on naming patterns. As far as researching French lines go, I am an infant. Any tips on French research would be appreciated. Thank you.

I can't think of one person who hasn't dealt with rejection and/or regret in one form or another. I've had my share but am curious as to what others would choose to live with and why.

More than 10 different barbarian tribes got together to destroy the ancient Romans and infiltrate the Roman legions. There were those that confiscated goods, those that raped the women, and those that knocked down buildings and public centers. What were their names?

I don't read any girly-fiction, but apart from that I have a varied taste. From George Orwell and Jane Austen to Stephen King...
Any suggestions?

Who would you chose?
For me, it would be Stephen King. I would ask him where he gets his ideas from.

...we all know Britain was invaded by William in 1066 but I feel Britain was invaded again in 1948 when the 'Empire Windrush' landed at Tilbury docks bringing the first wave of imigrants...for they have been coming ever since and in my opinion, constiture an invasion of England. Had they come with guns and bullets we would have fought to the death to repel them but instead they simply bought a ticket and we welcomed them with open arms. An invasion by stelth.

The England our fore-farthers fought and died for has been given away. These heros must be turning in their graves....for as more and more imigrants come so more and more English people leave.

This latest invasion may have taken 60 years but we have lost...my England is lost.
